I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it. He says it has helped him track his sleep schedule and has been a great addition to his workouts. If you are looking for a gift for someone who loves being active this is it.

I recently switched from an Apple Watch to the Garmin Forerunner 265, and it’s honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made for my fitness and training goals. I was initially worried about the size difference compared to my 41mm Apple Watch, but the larger screen has actually been a nice upgrade and it doesn’t feel much bigger on my wrist at all.
One of the biggest differences I noticed right away was the battery life. With the Apple Watch, I had to charge it every night, which always felt limiting. With the Forerunner 265, I easily get five to seven days on a single charge, even with regular GPS workouts and daily use. That alone has made a huge difference in how consistently I can track my progress and stay on top of my routine.

This product far exceeds anything the Apple has on the market. I spent a lot of time researching and comparing this watch with my old Apple Watch. To be honest, there really is no comparison. The Garmin far exceeds all of the Apple features with far more accuracy. Especially if you are a heart patient like I am and need to monitor heart function accurately during exercise, and throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is serious about their health and exercise.

No more charging your watch at the end of every day. Battery life is incredible. The only downside I’ve found is the Garmin app on the phone, but the watch itself is great!

I needed a watch that could accurately track my runs AND swims. Had an Apple watch series 9 before and it sucked in the pool. The days of battery life + the new screen make it very visually appealing and long lasting.

Amazing! Love my Garmin watch! I got it specifically for running purposes and it’s been amazing. The fact that I can connect my Beats Pro Earphones to the watch itself and listen to my music (no need to carry my phone) is a plus. Durable and scratch resistance!

I was looking for a nicer sports watch without breaking the bank (some of these smart watches are over $1,000). This has been very easy to set up, use with very good battery life. Its strange only charging your watch every couple of weeks after being so used to charging almost every day.

Coming from an Apple Watch, this FR265 has helped drastically with providing in depth running insights. It provides TONS of data around runs specifically, as well as training and recovery. The one thing I wish garmin did better was help you to make sense of all of the data. The UI isn't the smoothest, and it can definitely bog down when hot. If you are after a pure running watch, this is a great mid-tier choice that provides tons of features without the near $1k pricetag. If you are more interested in general fitness/smartwatch features, I'd recommend looking elsewhere

Got the 265 to start training for a half marathon. I wear it virtually everyday and at night. I also use it for swimming and strength training. The watch gives great analytics and suggestons for training. Battery life is amazing typically lasting around a week. I highly reccomend if you’re starting a training journey for running, swimming, triatholons, etc. this watch can do it all!
