I purchased this to use as a GPS for my 88 Corvette. I'm adding modern features to a car that was advanced for it's time when it was built. A regular GPS just made my car look "tourist-like". Overall, I am completely satisfied with it and took it out at night for a test. I did have to move it to the middle of the dash as if it was too close to my normal line of sight it kind of distracted me from the road. So, far there is no problems. One thing I found out as an added bonus... Your passenger does not have to remove your GPS from the dash or reach over you or anything else to program in a destination if you have to change your destination on the fly. I did not give it 5 stars because of the possibility the brightness can distract at night if placed too close to the driver (if using the provided plastic screen) and that initial set-up of the application takes a while to load. Even longer if you're not connected to wifi.
