Good rugged smart watch. I went through two Apple Watches that cracked due to active lifestyle. Needed a rugged watch for fitness. Fits the bill but has some limitations. Screen not so bright and not a touch screen so takes some time to learn all functions. The Garmin App is just as good as Apple Watch App.

Love this watch. The battery last 30 days and I dont need to be charging it every other day like most other smartwatches. You can change the settings and use for tactical purposes.

Excellent watch. It has more features than I know what to do with honesty. If you want a watch that has a TON of capability, this is for you. If you don’t need all the features, the price is a little steep. There are probably better options in the 150-200 range. This is an awesome watch.

Nice watch that is built very durable, the solar feature really does extend the battery run time. However, I gave it 3 stars because it’s not designed to function with Apple iPhones. It disconnects every few days and I must manually connect using the phone app. This is still a problem after the firmware updates to the watch.

You get an an extremely reliable watch one that lasts anywhere from a few days to quite literally never dying aslong as it gets 3 hours of sun a day, it’s generally amazing!
I would recommend this to a friend

Great watch, has very accurate heart rate and other bio metrics for ALL sports. Sleep tracking w/ sleep score is a game changer for training.
Band broke after about 5 months of wear, Garmin replaced it under warranty no questions asked and payed for shipping.

This is a great smart watch. I like that it doesn't have to be tight to the wrist to measure all the health data. I haven't worn any jewelry in decades so this is a change for me. The only complaint that I can make about it is that the documentation for the features and how to access them is not accurate. Reaching some of the relevant menu items does not work as easily in real time use as it does in the manual description.
When looking for a specific feature in the manual you must make sure you are using the manual for the exact smart watch that you bought since the menus may be different for solar/non-solar watches in the same family.
The watch is light. The band is adjustable in 1/4" increments so it should fit anyone in the size range. The display is excellent and all information can be customized so you can make it display those things that are important to you to know.
I have had this for more than a month and have used it for various activities in the activity list and so far it has been useful tracking metrics for me. I use the Connect app from the Apple store and everything syncs perfectly and is easy to reference.
The only issues I have found are related to coming up to speed with usage of the watch so it is all on me if I hit the wrong button while I learned how not to set up an activity.
Battery life is great. I use it to track health metrics and get more than three days out of it before I pop it onto the charger. The cable could be longer and that would be great but it works so it is good enough. GPS use while doing an activity will decrease battery life quite a bit. there are multiple power management settings though so you can find one that works for your situation.
Great watch! I would buy this for a friend or family member or I would consider other Garmin watches as gifts. Within their product line there should be a watch for just about anyone.
