Real good SOLAR in INSTINCT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The oversized screen and possibly a different solar panel makes a total difference in solar energy. I have used the first Instinct and the Instinct 2 Solar but the I2Solar really isn't comparable to the 2X SOLAR. The 2X Solar battery life increases with limited exposure to light, not just the sun and increases battery life without plugging in. The Instinct 2 solar shows an increase in the solar energy graph but does nothing for the real battery power. The TORCH is awesome and usable like a phones flashlight. Garmin silicone bands May be good if your arms aren't hairy but if they are then expect hair to be pulled. Silicone bands are not good in hot climates where breathability is is a must and nylon or fabric bands can be found elsewhere for the 26mm band replacement for $120 less then what Garmin wants for their version.
