Upgraded from an Apple Watch. I wanted to simplify and have a more activity driven watch. ( with a great battery life ). Love it. 100% worth the switch.

Best long lasting battery, best solar powered and rugged

Swapped from the Apple Watch to this Garmin. I’ve had it for a few weeks and I’ve noticed a few differences. Apple was simple to use but wasn’t as in depth. Garmin takes some time to adjust to but gives you more. More in terms of tracking sleep and physical training. I do feel like my Garmin doesn’t accurately track my training. I did over 2 miles of cardio but it said I only did 0.25 miles. Not too sure if I have to calibrate it in some way. I do like it because since having this watch for a month or so, I’ve charged it 3 times which is awesome.

The Instinct 3 Solar 45mm adds the indispensable flashlight that was missing from the Instinct 2 Solar 45mm, a portable light that is surprisingly handy once you have experienced its utility. The black and white MIP on the 3 Solar has the same resolution as the 2 Solar but is night and day more contrasty and legible. The 3 sports a beautiful display panel. GPS is on par with the Fenix lineup and includes most of the advanced training metrics. What's not to love? The muted twilight color is uniquely fresh and stands out from the sea of black watches.

Absolutely love this watch. All the functions and then some of other smart watches. PLUS it has 20 days of battery when using all functions. Of course you could go into battery saving mode and add more days. Moving from Apple Watch to this was a great move! What other watches have a powerful torch light built in?

Great watch, keeps up with all your steps, heart rate, o2 levels, and much more. It is very durable I work in a fabrication shop and so far it has held up. Battery life is great, especially if you workout in the sun it will recharge itself.

Amazing watch! I use it to track pretty much everything from sleep, to workouts, water consumption, literally everything! Long battery life and very accurate workout tracking. Great customization within the app!

Best watch ever. It is monotone so it can be viewed in almost no light situations. It is hi-tech and very functional. Not your typical smartwatch. More for outdoors and survivalist type people. With solar charging, you rarely ever have to charge.

Hands down one of the best watches I have owned. I have taken it on a few backpacking trips and the GPS is extremely reliable. As well as the battery life. I used GPS while hiking around for 4 days and still had 16 days of battery life by the end of it. The amount of features is great but my top 3 are the GPS for hiking, great battery life (especially with solar), and of course the built in flashlight. This watch is a tank!

We have owned several Garmin. Love them. This one is solar and lasts a long time per charge! The metrics seem to work great

I made some research before purchasing this garmin and I am absolutely loving it. It is the 2nd garmin I have, the previous was a forerunner 235. It wears very comfortable specially when doing my workouts and I've been using it to track road running, treadmill, strength training, jumping rope, inline skating and indoor cycling so far. I like very much the strength training tracking, it can even identify some workouts (as long you are executing the proper form). I've also signed up for a virtual running coach and I'm enjoying the experience so far. It makes everything organized with the schedule workouts easily synced between the smartwatch and the app. The battery is awesome, it lasts forever and I only had to recharge after a month. I will use it as an indicator that I need to go more outdoors to use more solar recharge, but also as a way to keep up with my vitamin D levels.

I absolutely love this watch. The battery life is incredible—especially with the solar charging. I can go for long periods without worrying about charging it, which makes it perfect for hiking, traveling, and everyday use. The 45mm size is perfect for my wrist. It feels solid and rugged, but not too big or uncomfortable. I like that I can feel it on my wrist without it being heavy. Overall, the watch is extremely reliable, durable, and packed with useful features. It’s definitely worth every dollar. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tough outdoor watch with amazing battery life.

Great watch, incredible battery life. The solar charging exceeded my expectations. I took it with me on a 7-day backpacking trip and used it on the highest battery drain GPS mode the entire time I was moving. I finished the trip with almost 50% battery life left.

I love the watch! Huge upgrade over my Samsung watch. The solar charging is a great feature! I only have to charge it once ever couple of weeks. The Samsung watch had to be charged every day!

Bought the Garmin watch for my boyfriend for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! He has been with a smart watch for about 6 months or more. Its got a lot of features that he loves and even sleeps with it on! This product has wxcweded expectations!

Picked this up to try and compare against my Apple Watch. As a brain tumor survivor, I’m very interested in my health stats. Helping me track my sleep and honestly looks cool too. Would recommend.

This watch is vary good for sport and very good for battery chigger one time can be use more then two weeks.

I originally had a forerunner 265, before I broke it. I honestly like the face of the 265 better than the instinct 3 solar. The instinct is harder to read messages, it has alot more information available on the screen without going through the fuctions of the watch. On the plus side the instinct battery life incredibly long 20 plus days without a single charge. If I were younger it would be a non issue as far as seeing the watch but now i need to pull out readers... most of the time I just dismiss notifications since I can't just glance down at it and tell what it says. If your eye sight is better then it will an awesome watch.
