I purchased a Garmin GPS 4 yrs ago and am greatly pleased with this model version as well, several updates have been added (Dual split screen) which is really nice as a confusing turn is simplified as to actually where to turn. Features audio alerts when going through school zones, speed indicator turns red when over the speed limit (tisk, tisk, lol) Draw back as in the first model I bought, battery life is not the greatest, may last maybe an hour. Car charger adapter is recommended for extended trips. A litttle pricey but maybe that is including the life time upgrades as the last update/ cost me 99 bucks to do. Another great thing is that the ladies voice has been toned down to just a scowel when you miss her directions as in "turn Here" nope not happening...just re-calculates the route....NICE ! :-)

This Garmin with traffic, directed us around several traffic problems on our annual trip from Florida to Michigan and back. I will use it even on our fimilar trips around Florida. Besides the traffic, the speaker phone work great and the gas, food & rest areas info was really helpful.

Works well , voice command is nice when driving.very accurate.

The GPS is great. Compared with my nuvi 50LM it's in a different category. I love the traffic feature and the maps while driving. Going on the same stretch of highway going into cities, it's so much nicer. It keeps me in the right lane for what I need, and if there is traffic ahead I get a warning. The blue tooth worked great with my cell phone.

it how with the trap on finding the shorts route. and now i use it everyday it easy to find home we are working on. and cut down time. witch save us money.

it is like it has its own brain it figured out when im going home and to work and automatically tells me how long to either, pretty bad a**!

I have always owned a Tomtom gps, so I am used to the way it works. This one has a BIG screen and is easy to read.

I like this product of lifetime updates and simple use. I really like how it shows pictures of exits and roads. Plus all the different options.

Very dependable and reliable gps by garmin! It is a little pricy but overall the quality is high.

Got it for my daughter when she got a car so she wouldn't get lost. We all have nuvis in our vehicles and love them. Garmin makes the best

This unit is fast, bright, intuitive and accurate. Updates are easy. Lots on configuration options.

enjoy the new features of this product. replaced my old unit with this. larger screen doesnt say recalculating every time you are at a stop light now.

I like the voice command. It has been used on about 4 business trips and very pleases with GPS.

My Garmin GPS was definitely worth the money spent. The Bluetooth features allows it to speak through your car, unless you have a Nissan. Car companies are always trying to push you to buy their navigation systems, but personally I think the Garmin does a much better job of guiding you and providing the best routes. I will always use a Garmin.

This is our 5th Garmin. Bought 2 Garmins years ago. Both were very good but this was before lifetime maps and updates were getting expensive. Also, technology has advanced. Updated one of the older ones for my wife and this worked very well for a few years but battery life off of the charger was non-existent. Since then bought two new ones. Both of these now have Li-on batteries and last quite a while off the charger. Even with cars that have a NAV system my wife prefers the Garmin. As a realtor, she often needs to show multiple homes in one day. With a Garmin she can bring it into the house the night before, enter all of her destinations in advance and confirm directions. So why only 4 stars? 1) Garmin software for updates and downloads is not well designed, not user friendly and very awkward to use. This has been a complaint I have with Garmin for years. Updating their software should be an easy fix for a large company. 2) Why oh why can't Garmin allow the unit to be connected with a computer and be used in it's native GPS mode. Computer connection limits the device to be a used as an external drive/device - offer a selection for the Garmin to be used in GPS mode while on computer connection. Otherwise I feel that Garmin makes the best portable GPS available.

The Garmin I bought met all of the requirements that I had decided upon before I entered the store to buy it. The salesman directed me to purchase the proper SD card and told me all I needed to know the get it operating wthin my car, as the Garmin I had used for the last 7 years finally decided it had enough and kept dropping out by turning off. It was easy to set up initially and functioned perfectly. A good value.

Love the gps unit. Works very well. Love the built in blue tooth. And speed alert! Bought one for my mother in law also!

Good product, easy to use, wish the windshield mount was smaller hard to store in your bag when traveling
