Best Buy Return/exchange policy unsatisfactory cld. be better

This is my 2nd garmin. Last one was 6 years old and never had problem. This one freezes constantly and unable then to turn on or off. Like display split screen but extremely disappointed with freezing issues esp when in desperate need post a move to new state.

After reading ALL good review I bought this. First thing I did was update the software. I live in Las Vegas and drive desert highway to CA. It shows I go 66MPH when I drive 70MPH. Foursquare is constantly off. The location would be next door or across the street. I never leave it in the car, even if I am just shopping. Attaching and un-attaching the GPS is just plain stupid and I personally think it would wear out just enough that it would not work for very long. A minimum of 4 times a day, almost every day, for over 1 year. No, I don’t see it lasting but I am not as smart as the engineers. I would settle for the Garmin - Nüvi 2589lmt 5 Gps with Built-in Bluetooth, Lifetime Map Updates and Lifetime Traffic Updates if it was $50 or less.

I am going to have to return the item, it is defective

I told the sales clerk I was buying a GPS because of the traffic, it does not work in our area, I brought it back sales clerk said Baton Rouge doesn't have the ability to give traffic info, I clearly told him that's what I wanted it for!!! Disappointed customer! !

I bought this product because of the voice command feature. It rarely works. I have had others give the same address and it doesn't get it. It is not my speech pattern causing the problem. It does ok if I type in the correct address however I wanted speech command.

Screen is smaller than most. Sets nice on the dashboard.

My computer is slow and I don't have any apps on it.

Sometimes there's no response when touching a key.

This model comes with a lot of issues. First the battery doesn´t last long enought. It came with less command voices than older versions of Gamin´s GPS. I wouldn´t recommed you to buy this model.

Echo had a great start, 1 1/2 yrs ago. It played perfectly. Now, cuts out when playing my music from Spotify ( used to play it beautifully), half the time it cannot find my playlist. I ask Alexa to turn music off in 20 minutes and she turns off music immediately; or plays half a song, turns off and comes back on a few minutes later only to cut off and on over the next 20 minutes. My wife has the Google Mini which seems to work. However, music (when it was playing) sounds better on my Echo. Overall, very disappointed. Can't seem to get any support to help me either. Unfortunately, my wife did not purchase the extended warranty on this item.

this is my 2nd Garmin purchased ( 1st on was great- gave to son); this one worked well the first time, then went to charge it . After charging, would not turn back on. Took it back and exchanged it. ( new exchange did same thing)

I guess I'm used to my TomTom gives phone number of location you are searching for where this unit doesn't all roads visible in Tom Tom and not in this new one and I'm talking old established roads not new ones

A bit disappointed based on reviews I thought this would be awesome. Keypad difficult to navigate. Doesn't find streets very well. I was parked right in front and it couldn't find the street.

Bought this GPS because of my frequent travels. After only a couple of months it stopped working. I took good care of it so I know whatever was wrong was it was not caused by me.

I have had many Garmin GPS units. Most are very pricey, high quality with a heavy metal case and glass screen. This thing is or a lower end budget, light weight, plastic shelled and plastic feeling screen. From day one the Lifetime Traffic would not work. Returned to Best Buy within a week. The guy in the return line in front of me was returning the same one. His Hard Drive went out in 2 months. That is past the 15 day Best Buy return time. He was covered because he bought the warranty. Pass on this thing!!!
