I had previously owned a Garmin Nuvi and loved it. The new 2589 is even better. It is easy to use and very accurate.

Easy to use, easy to see. Nice features. Really like the voice command but have learning curve on how to talk to it.

I bought this knowing I will never use all the features so my review is only on the ease of use. I did a map update right out of the box. The computer software downloaded from garmin website was surprisingly simple to use. Connect the Garmin via USB and click check for updates. After 7gb download it installed effortlessly. Went for a drive around town and it automatically found a new rout when I purposely went the wrong direction. The new rout was much quicker than my old garmin.

I found the device to be very user friendly; modern and easy set up. Features are easy to navigate through as well.

Very easy to set up and use. I love the real time traffic feature as well. We bought one for each of our kids to use.

One of my best purchases yet. Super easy to use and let's me know when there are traffic issues so I can detour around.

The traffic updates, Bluetooth and lifetime maps are awesome features for older vehicles without built in navigation systems!

We bought the GPS for my wife's car. It is a very user friendly device with it an easy to use interface/menu. Voice recognition works well even when there is background noise. The only challenge we had was when we tried to update the sofware and maps: it took long hours to download (couple of gb's). Last but not least, the traffic information is lagging behind google maps, i.e. not as 'live' as google maps.

Lost my first Garmin. This one Faster satellite lock. More sensitive receiver - able to receive satellite indoors. Easier to use interface. Only problem is the flat shinny display that reflects driver when driving into the sun.

Use it every time I drive. The live traffic updates are great. Easy to use and update maps. Would recommend this GPS.

i needed a gps and definitely glad i invested in this item. it has never steered me wrong and is very easy to use.

i usually use my phone for gps but to many things pop up like calls text and emails when using. i dont feel safe driving and clear all that stuff off my screen while driving. i went a head and bought this gps and love it. the traffic features dont work every. I believe it has to be a big city. I drove from houston to orlando on a family vacation trip. i havent been able to use all the features yet. 2 months with it so far and it has been very good. I do recommend this gps.

Garmin definately makes the best GPS. This one has a nice size screen and a lot of features at a moderate price.

hands free voice command is great, lets you keep hands on steering wheel while driving, large screen is easy to read.

I have used TomTom 5 inch for 5 years, and I purchased Garmin at this time. After the purchase I opened the box in a car, turned on and used it to my home. A 3D Car icon was 10 feet along side of the road map... I realized it needs update, so after I went back home, I connected my new Garmin to my pc and updated. It took a long time to update... However, once I updated, it worked perfectly!

Would recommend. Great product easy to use, recognizes voice command easily. Will buy one for a second vehicle

Nice looking unit. The screen size is perfect, easy to see and read. Great directions and easy to get started.

Does everything i need it to do. Bluetooth is an awesome feature as well as the voice command while driving.

This is my second GPS from Garmin, much improved from the one I purchased 4 years ago, the screen,keyboard and the whole prosser is a vast improvement on a already good product. A must have for travel.
