I started using the GPS right out of the box. Very easy to use. Before using the Voice command to find an address it's best to find the address before you start your travel. The voice command sometimes gives a list of address options and asks you to select a line number. You need to look at the list so it's not safe to do that while driving. This model has Bluetooth for your phone so you can talk hands free and has Free lifetime map updates.

The GPS works well and starts up quickly. Lane guidance is very good and more sophisticated than before, which means that it does a good job of showing you all the lanes with the pink stripe down the lane you should be in when approaching freeway divides. Basic search is good, but FourSquare search is smarter and better at finding places. Voice command is really nice when it works, but it still has trouble understanding what I'm saying even in a parked car with the windows rolled up. I'd buy it again as my old unit was very slow and no voice input at all. But only 4 stars as there's still room for improvement.

I love my gps. It has a brighter screen than most and it has been accurate everytime I have used it. I bought two and would recommend to anyone. It's easy to use and adjustable to your needs

Absolutely love this Garmin easy to use great graphics. I have had other GPS devices, 3 in fact, but this one out does them all!

I really like my GPS Garmin. It is easy to read and understand this navigation system. Also the Bluetooth works great.

easy to set locations - easy to read - gives warning in plenty of time for turns etc not last minute directions - nice area search for gas food etc- small but big enough to see and read

This gps is awesome. very user friendly for a beginner. this device is very precise and knowledgeable. I used It last week out of state for the first time and it was a hit.......

I love this GPS. The voice command works great. When I jump in the car I don't have time to key in a destination. I start driving and tell the GPS where I am going while I'm on the move. I can give it an address (no zip code required) or just the name of a place i.e. Target. Whem there are several options for "Target", it provides a list with addresses and you can tell the GPS which line number your choice is on. Your hands never have to leave the wheel.

I wanted a new garmin that had bluetooth and voice command. It has taken me a while to get use to it but I am enjoying learning how to use it. It's works well for me.

This Garmin does just what it advertises and more. I'm so glad I purchased this unit just before a family reunion trip to Washington , D.C. We had absolutely no idea where we were going and this unit got us to our destination safely. Even through heavy D.C. traffic it maneuvered us through toll lanes and exit routes with ease. Very pleased with my purchase as it saved us from getting lost a few times and prevented many arguments about directions.

I like the large screen, and found this device very easy to use. The live traffic updates are helpful during rush hour and long road trips. I chose to purchase the Garmin over using an App on my phone, because I was afraid of burning through my data plan. I highly recommend this Garmin.

I had a garminl40 for several years but it did not come with Canadian maps. We are planing a trip there. I researched for several months and found this product to be exactly what I needed. I waited a few weeks to buy it and it went on. I got it at almost half price. It works great, just the right size and very easy to use. It has voice commands which is great.

My other gps was stolen, so I had an excuse to buy one with voice command. For the most part, voice command is far from flawless here. Sometimes I find myself verbally arguing with this thing in the middle of traffic. Ha. Still, though, I couldn't get around in such a timely fashion without my gps. This model is real smooth and easy to use, if it weren't so hard of hearing. I highly recommend it.

works great nice screen size easy to use only down fall is sometimes it has a glare on the screen depending on where the sun comes from you can still see it and read it or listen to it some time i turn it facing down to void the glare.blue tooth is nice works and hooks up quick fast and easy. voices are clear and so is sound from Bluetooth..love it when it tells me i am entering a school zone that I am not familiar with that area.. It’s very user friendly and accurate to show the navigation, very helpful for new driver to understand each and every turn.

It did take some time to down load the GPS, but after I did it was good. Did take me where I like to go.

Purchased this after my 9 year old Nuvi started having battery issues, failing to hold a charge. As expected, functions perfectly so far. Accuracy is again excellent plus all the extra features compared to my old unit; 5" screen, Bluetooth, etc. The one thing I really like is that this unit does not keep saying "Recalculating" if you deviate from the projected route or miss a turn. It just reverts to a new route with directions quickly to keep you on track. My wife's vehicle has a built in GPS which uses the TeleNav system of tracking. Although almost as accurate as the NUVI, it does not have free Lifetime Traffic and Map updates. So when it comes time to update it, I am not paying the Dealer for the feature I am getting free with the NUVI. I am a firm believer and loyal customer for Garmin. As long as they keep manufacturing quality products with lots of features at a reasonable price, I highly recommend purchasing one.

like the syncing with blue tooth with my phone. only thing two things that concern me (maybe it is to learn it better), doesn't give mileage to destination, just estimated time, also I don't know how to take it off a designated route (if I change my mind) and just have the map. for 50 miles it kept telling me I could turn right and right and right and get back, or make a u=turn. like the graphics, and good voice. interesting pronouciations sometimes.

Like screen and the voice command directions.. Do not like that I can not use a pen or pencil or a stylist to touch the screen, have to use a finger. Have an option for voice command directions but if you do not speak quick enough the voice command feature go away and can not be used again until you turn the GPS off and turn back on again. Overall this is a GREAT GPS,

Easy to use out of the box! Voice command feature makes it hands free! Live traffic is AWESOME! YOU HAVE TO GET ONE OF THESE!
