This purchase was half for work and half for pleasure. The GPS works great with Garmin's Basecamp software that allows you to create trips and plans drive routes.

We have Garmin GPS's in all our vehicles. They are very easy to use and accurate.

This Garmin has a much more sensitive touch screen than my old model which makes it much easier to use. It is fairly intuitive once you explore all the menus and options. Power cord contains the antenna for traffic conditions updates. So be sure to use the power cord included with it. Map updates take a long time on your computer and seem to lag behind Google maps updates. Overall I am very satisfied.

Easy to use. Works well. Does not require a great deal of technical knowledge to use.

I bought this device for work to use with the Garmin FMI service and it has worked great! I love the new layout on the Garmin and the updated Bluetooth features!

It's hard to say but I purchased a SD card for the new phone and it was a great price and that's that. I get all electronics at Best Buy the only place to shop

Considered an in-car stereo GPS unit but the convenience and functionality of this unit won us over. Used it to travel cross-country and never missed a turn.

I bought this Nuvi for my wife, who was going to take a solo trip to see our son. The display is excellent and easy to view. The set-up and operation is easy. Using it for a week to work and around town was enough for her to feel comfortable with it to go on her sojourn. The voice recognition works okay, but patience is required. All in all, it's a very good investment.

My previous Garmin was zapped when flying so had to buy a new one in Las Vegas,used it there and then mailed it back to NY.No problems getting East Coast maps.

Looks good, works good. Maps are easy to update but they do take a while to update. The glass touch screen is nice, more like a phone. Much better than older versions.

When my old Garmin refused to take a charge - which of course happened when I was in unknown territory without a map - I knew it was time to get an upgrade. My requirements were that it offer lane assist and voice recognition. The lane assist works very well - it tells you which lane to be in, offers landmarks (some of which are humorous such as turn at the big glass building) and generally takes me on the route I would take when I am navigating in home territory. The largest problem - other than the voice recognition - is that it is less good on navigating around surface street traffic. It does an excellent job of recognizing the freeway bottlenecks but sometimes moves me off the freeway when there is a 5 minute wait just to get off the freeway because of a backup on the off ramp. The other problem is voice recognition. It is very useful but I find that it only works about half the time. Given that I could get a ticket for driving and resetting the GSP the voice recognition is essential but I can't count on it. If Google and Apple can do it well, unsure why Garmin can not.

Its been a while since I last used a standalone GPS unit but this one has renewed my appreciation of them. Not being forced to have my phone out of my pocket while getting directions is great. The app is very useful and would never get another unit without that integration. Note, Traffic updates require the use of the provided power supply as the antenna reside inside it.

Have owned several garmin GPS receivers and this one is the best. Easy to use, bright and easy to follow. Always know where I am and very easy to set a location to go to. The built in traffic monitor is very helpful and has helped me out on several occasions.

Nice screen, easy setup, lifetime maps....works perfect for my work.

I needed a replacement gps right away so I relied only on the advice of the BB employee. The device has worked flawlessly, almost. For example, we got stuck behind a major traffic jam, and the device estimated the minimum delay for us. It recommended a detour off the highway, which we took and escaped a major delay. Nice. Also, price of around $139 was quite reasonable.

This is the 3rd one I purchased. Always get me where I need to be. Local traffic reroutes me to fastest way

This was a replacement of our 5 year old Garmin. The maps are great, we really like how it shows upcoming exits and/or multiple lanes. it shows you the current speed limit and the actual speed display turns from green to red if you are speeding. The accuracy is very good and the traffic alerts are extremely helpful. It is an amazing device at and excellent price.
