I couldn't be happier. My previous GPS (not Garmin) was constantly locking up and having problems. I haven't had a single issue with this one and using it is very easy and pleasurable.

Upgraded from an older Garmin model. Really like the new touchscreen features and larger screen. Big improvement over our older one. We looked at other models, but this one had everything we need at an affordable price. Very happy so far.

Garmin continues to enhance functionality. This one I bought for my wife has so many new features I wish I had on my 4 year old model. I wish I could convince her to swap with me!

This product is outstanding, the voice command features are mind blowing. The fact that your updates are free for the rest of the products life is one of the best additions which is offered by this product. The directions are spot on.

We use this for business. Very easy to use and the voice commands are great. One of our employees couriers supplies to various locations in the region. He hasn't gotten lost yet...

Full featured unit sans the back-up camera (which I don't need) Great unit for the price. I like the landmark based directions. It also seems that voice command has improved

Love this new GPS, so much more user friendly and sophisticated then my older Nuvi 1450. To bad the sales person knew nothing about it and there were none on display at the Patchogue store. I had to first purchase it then open the box to insure it had a windshield mounting system because it wasn't clear on the packaging as to what was included and the sales man thought it was excluded and offered me a separate mount for purchase. Wrong did not need it as it was included. Overall love the new GPS.

I was recently hired for a job that has me on the road most days. I found I was in need of a GPS as the destinations vary a lot from day to day. This GPS fits the bill very well and is easy to use which was important to me.

The gps is very reliable, I love the Four-Square feature, for places to go. traffic feature is excellent, for what lane to be in. Screen is bright, however it is reflective needs a matte cover option. Bluetooth works well in a quiet vehicle.

Before buying my GPS I reviewed quite a few GPS's on the market. The Garmin nuvi 2589LMT was the perfect choice, it has everything I want & need. Directions are clear & precise & I love the voice activation feature. Free lifetime maps, bluetooth, real time traffic & the ability to find gas stations, resturants & shops is an added plus. I plan on giving one to my brother & sister in law for Christmas.

I bought the Garmin about 2 months ago. So far, it works well. I like how fast the whole system operates. It is easy to use and you set your destination before It seeks the satellites. The receiver on the unit is very sensitive.

I bought it because my car rental company did not have one and I was traveling to Philadelphia, thanks to Garmin GPS I was able to find all the places that i need it to go

This is a great GPS. It has not steered me wrong yet in 10k miles of driving with it. I wish it would display certain things I choose on the route like it does for some gas stations.

I liked our last GPS. The whole family LOVES this GPS! It has voice control, traffic updates and lifetime maps. Garmin has made some wonderful updates that make travel so easy. Go get it now! You will not be disappointed.

I purchased this to help me navigate around the I-85 bridge collapse in Atlanta this spring, as I live 97 miles from work and I am not familiar with alternate routes other than following the main interstates. This unit not only quickly re-routes if you get off track but also re-routes you when there is a traffic jam. The voice command feature is an absolute necessity. Although, sometimes it doesn't understand what I am saying if I ask for an odd sounding restaurant name!

incredibly easy to use, voice activation works great, maps awesome, does come with window suction holder, works great!! This is for my son, and i'm soooo jealous....it works easier than my garmin does!! love it!!!

This is my 4th GPS and it will be my last for a while, it is large enough that I can see it without having to put on glasses. I can understand it and it tells me what lanes I need to be in for up coming turns and exits.

I was looking for a GPS to use instead of my data on my phone. When I went in I was looking at a cheaper model when the sales person told me for a few more dollars I could get a better model. I ended up purchasing the 2589LMT. Love the way his one works. It does the split screen when you at junctions to show you the way. It also has voice command which is great. The plus is you get free life time map updates and life time traffic. If your looking for a GPS this one is GREAT.

I chose this one that was a little more expensive due to the fact that it has Bluetooth and many major cities require hands free devices. There are many great features and easy set up. I would make this purchase again

Nice up grade from the last Garmin GPS I have., like the voice command. I would have given five star only negative the hook up is on the back of the device rather than hold on top and bottom center like my old previous Garmin
