First vacation trip used this and encountered many "recalculating" instances. Did cause some confusion during the drive, but we never ended up in the lake! Before leaving on vacay, we did update maps.

Screen impossible to see clearly due to reflective surface. Had to purchase an anti glare scree separately from a secondary source. This did solve the problem but Garmin should have known about it.

Although the unit works well it would not connect to the GM info system via blue tooth, this may not be Garmins issue but it was useless if I could not hear the turn by turn through my vehicle.

I like my Garmin, although haven't had it for very long. The screen is better than my older version. I like how you can do hands free phone calls through it, you can actually hear pretty well.

I got this because the current gps I use is running slow. This is faster than older models. But the traffic receiver never seemed to work. I always ended up getting stuck in traffic

Living in a metropolitan area, we found that the unit would not always select the most efficient route. More than once we were instructed to take the opposite freeway ramp.

The suction cup ruins the product. If the quality was a little better with the plastic, this would be a great product. Taking it off and on will destroy the mount over time.

The UI is not great and search is very complicated. Some times even if we give precise location, it struggle to search. Mount is very bad, suction doesn't fit well

As great as all the functions of this device are, it doesn't work well with Voice Recognition. Even the examples it presents are not recognized by the device.

The GPS is nice, and has a decent balance of features for the price. Out of the box it worked great. The issues started when I attempted to update the software and maps. Following Garmin's instructions, I downloaded Garmin express, plugged in the unit and checked for updates. It found updates for both the software and maps, and I had it install both. Both failed almost immediately. I spent the next few hours getting frustrated with failed installs and futile attempts to find a solution on the internet. I tried both Garmin Express and it's stand alone map updater, none of which did anything except delete the map file that the unit came with. I attempted to use a different computer and had the same results. I've contacted Garmin support, but I am growing tired of waiting on a potential solution from them. I will most likely return the unit, as it is currently nothing more than a $200 paperweight.

Seams to be well built. Did am update on it out of the box, gets me close to where I want to go but doesn't get me to the front door of where I want to go.

I am working on getting to know this gps. With no directions it is difficult for this old man to figure out.Would have preferred an manual to follow.

My first unit failed in 2-3 days. It was very easy to get an exchange.. Especially because I purchased in one state and exchanged in a different state.

It did not get us onto the 210 on our trip South before Thanksgiving so added an additional 4 hours to our trip--bumper to bumper crawling traffic.

THE VOLUME OF THE SPEAKER IS TOO LOW. I WAS USED TO HAVING ONE WITH A MAGNETIC MOUNT. IT TAKES A LITTLE MORE TIME TO SET IT UP EACH TIME.

When you put an address in the gps routes you to get off a hwy and then side streets and back to the hwy. when you just could have stayed on the hwy

I got my 2555 stolen out of my car so I bought this as a replacement. It doesn't have the features that my old one had but it'll do.

The GPS has great software. I loved using it. But after 2-3 weeks it died - it would not turn on.

No way to charge other than w/ car charger. No way to contact Best Buy by email to ask for one. So much for simple online ordering

I get frustrated with some of the roads that this GPS leads me down. I don't trust it 100%, and I back up the directions with a map.
