ONE star for a reason!!! there are a couple things the screen does not have a matte finish which means it has a glare in sunlight. The battery only lasted a little over one year. If you are planning to use it for hiking FORGET IT. I had purchased a one year extended warranty. How convenient.

In suburban areas the GPS worked fine and I also liked the traffic warnings 20 miles in advance of my seeing traffic. Allowed me to take a secondary route. Ultimately though it needs to be 100% accurate to justify the price point. I mean it is a GPS right?

I'm finding I'm having the same issues. Its too late to return to the store so my husband found a link on line stating this model has this issue. They also have a fix on line. I haven't tried the fix yet since my GPS turned on this time and I need it not to turn on to use this fix.

The charging cable is so bad, it wont even stay connected. too loose. Maps are fine, but quality of the product is bad, specially the connection to charger and the battery. too bad for the price. i would buy something in $50 better than this.
