Returning. Freezes frequently, shuts off randomly, won't turn back on without significant time and effort, doesn't charge properly. Voice commands doesn't understand anything we say. Emailed Garmin for help to avoid returning...not helpful. When it was on the directions were good and easily understood. We will look for another option...

This item was not my first choice. But necessity required I get something immediately. Even after updates were applied this GPS has led me ten miles away from my goal, taken me to places that don't exist anymore and failed to inform me of traffic jams even though Traffic is turned on. Just not worth the money spent on it.

I will return and exchange it soon! There's something wrong with it.

Live Traffic does not work at all. Difficult to add addresses

The GPS slow to find a street even if it is within a mile away. Can't turn it sideways like previous GPS's I have owned. Calculator apps no longer on this version. Overall I would have returned this sooner if I still had 30 days to return it.

Although I bought the 2589 LMT GPS with lifetime maps and traffic which was supposed to come with the Traffic Receiver/charger, the package just came up with only the GPS Charger. No traffic receiver came.

After speaking with several reps at my local best buy I decided to purchase this GPS. I am constantly traveling and encounter traffic delays that my phone doesn't always foresee or provide alternative routes to (rarely but it happens). I was told multiple times that this GPS would alert me on traffic updates, and updates that your phone wouldn't receive and let me know when to go alternative routes - what no one mentioned was the cables to allow for traffic updates would cost an additional $100 or so. Very disappointing to learn after you spend hours updating maps on the GPS. If you are looking for a GPS that can take you from place to place this works great - but I wanted the GPS for the traffic updates. I don't want to spend $350 in total to get those updates when my phone works fairly decent and provides updates via Google maps. I will be returning this tonight to my BestBuy :/

Had it about a year. Slow start up. Not accurate. Problems with turning on and charging. Multiple times no power after charging and recharging then 15 + minutes screen comes on.

Poor quality, unit quit working less than a month after purchase. I need to return it and get a new better one. Will I have a problem returning it without the box?

Every other day of use, it would keep losing signal and kept rerouting until the device was restarted then it would work again. After like 5-6 days it stopped working

I had to go to San Francisco and I don't drive in big Cities very often. This GPS made my trip very enjoyable. Traffic updates were great . The split screen showed exactly what the off ramp looks like with clear markings.The voice prompts provide guidance while you keep your eyes on the road . I used the voice command turn down volume find gas station .find parking worked very good. If you miss a turn it quickly recalculates and gets you corrected to where you are going.. I did practice before I went on my trip to make sure I could work it. It is easy to learn. Best buy also price matched my price off the internet. saved 50.00 .

Voice prompts can understand me( im asian) and the traffic feature was unable to load for a full hour. Waze is better.

Traffic update?? Hahaha not even working still have to used my phone

This product froze up 16 days after purchase and since I didn't purchase a warranty it went in the trash

The Garmin stopped working and would not power on after 1 week. I returned the GPS to Bestbuy.

terrible route choices went back to using old 1300t wasted 200$

I was in Canada and this Gps was giving me wrong directions.
