It works great. Unfortunately, I was trying to buy a gps for geocaching. So, I returned it. BUT from the bit I did use it, it was great!

This is a nice unit for the money when on sale. Like the life time map and traffic updates. Like the touch screen and voice commands

This Garmin replaced an older Garmin. Excellent navigation. Intuitive interface. Voice activated. Bluetooth. Hard to beat for the price.

This GPS is very accurate. It will locate stores,gas stations and even rest areas along your route.

I have had a Garmin for many years but it was an early model and did not have the lifetime map updates. Still good though. My husband bought me this updated Garmin that includes lifetime maps and traffic. I love it! It also tells me what the speed limit is and my speed. I do not like using my phone because it drains the battery and gets hot.

My husband and I were sharing a garmin. I recently purchased a new one so we don't have to share and it has new and helpful features.

Voice command is great. Nice screen size. Works great

Was recommended by another driver. Would recommend to another driver in a great beat. So much easier to find out-of-state addresses.

Not only is this Navi an excellent "no hands" necessary GPS system, but when connected with the Garmin BC-30 Wireless Backup camera, it becomes an extra added safety feature for cars that are unable to be upgraded (for whatever reason) Easy to use and the system recognizes most voices, even of those of us with heavy New York accents.

This is my second Garmin , my first was a very good easy to use unit. After getting this one I'm thinking it is a GREAT little GPS. I took it right out of the box put address in and away we went to North Fort Myers Fla. Not one missed turn with all the landmarks that are used in the GPS. I would DEFINITELY buy it again....!!!

For the top-end class of GPS units, the Garmin 2589LMT is the best unit available on the market right now. I had to upgrade from it's predecessor the 3590LM which I loved but it crapped out from a short circuit caused by the mount. The 2589 is a great improvement in all regards of hardware but the software interface is slightly less customizable than its predecessor. Still. not a deal-breaker by any means.

The GPS was easy to use and easy to get the updates. I have only had one problem with it taking somewhere I did not need to be.

This is the perfect keyboard for what I needed. It works with my tablet and my phone. No more typing on that small screen keyboard.

I am really enjoying my new Garmin. It is easy to operate and had a fantastic display.

My wife and I planned a special vacation to drive the west coast from San Diego to Seattle. As we embarked, our old GPS died. We found a Best Buy just outside Los Angeles and purchased a new Garmin Nuvi!! This model has it all - bigger screen, better graphics, improved features, and clearer directions. It saved our trip!!

I'll start out by admitting that I have not yet fiddled with all the bells and whistles on this unit, but as a GPS it's really good. It's easy to use out of the box, map updates are really easy and can be set up to be done automatically. ( One's computer can automatically download updates and then transfer when the GPS is plugged in.) The features I like most are the lane "pictures" and the voice landmark directions. A picture of which of the six lanes is the one that goes where you want is really handy when out of one's element. Turn right at "The Shell" really helps in unfamiliar cities. I have not used the bluetooth features yet, such as the speakerphone, or transferring directions, but the speaker is decently loud. I was driving an econobox and had no difficulty hearing it. My one complaint is that the screen could be a bit brighter, or better still, OLED. It is fine most of the time, but when the sun hits it right, it's hard to see.

I purchased this as a gift for my fiancé at Christmas. His old gps was wearing out, and his 2006 Hylander doesn't have navigation. He's an area manager for a restaurant chain, and is on the road a lot, and always on the phone. The combination of navigation with voice command and blue tooth for his cell phone is perfect.

Love it, easy to use. We go up north alot and like to take the side roads comes in handy.

My sense of direction is not great so I rely on my Garmin daily. I travel in my work, and it always gets me there without problem.

So far I am happy with this GPS and have only owned the Garmin brand. The size is good, easy to read and reasonably priced. I especially like the voice command option. My only complaint would be that I don't get a verbal acknowledgement if I miss a turn. It doesn't announce "recalculating" and I would actually prefer to hear that.
