I really like my Garmin - nüvi 2589LMT 5" GPS with Built-In Bluetooth and Lifetime Map updates. We all know that the constant road updates are huge in San Antonio right now. I’m glad I can just connect it to my laptop and do an update and newly made roads/routes to destinations will be added. Very easy to use and read maps. Easy to adjust volume and brightness on screen with touchscreen love it.

It is so much more intuitive than other brands. I like that you can search for food places generally and it will provide all the places in the area so you don't have to had an address. My kids play sports and we're always traveling to other towns so the food search is really easy for when we need a lunch or dinner place after the sports.

This is a gift for my son, we got another last year for our other son. Paid extra for lifetime maps and traffic updates as our original did not and the extra up front money is worth it. The traffic updates are the key - got stuck on a spring break return trip on I-75 for hours; wish I had this GPS as we could have avoided and saved hours of sitting. Plus as the world grows with new roads places shops this grows with it.

Purchases as a gift, Impressed with the detail of this unit. It is accurate and easy to operate.

It is a really good GPS, the only problem was the voice commands. It doesn't understand sometimes what is being said so you end up yelling at it.

This GPS works perfectly. It's very easy to set up and use. The screen is a good size and easily read.

The Garmin 2589LMT is a very good GPS overall. It picks up satellite signals and the local time very quickly, and is quick to re-calculate alternate routes. The destination address entry is more tedious than it needs to be. It asks for the street, then you have to go through a menu with a lot of annoying autocomplete suggestions. Putting in the state / City / Street in that order would be preferable, my old Tom-Tom did it that way.

I love this GPS. Works great and the screen is very clear and it's always on the money.

Have been using this product for 4 years and have been very satisfied. Lots of saved directions in 4 square. Navigation is very easy. Cons though: my first unit stopped working without any reason and i was sent a replacement since it was in warranty period. Voice command is very poor. Sometimes takes too long time to acquire satellites

I used to use my phone to do my gps but often times found that I ended up in places that didn't have data and j would loose my maps. Love having a how unit with maps built intonit

Voice command and bluetooth are great features.Wish the machine could be easily decoupled, though.

I travel to a lot of location that are unfamiliar to me. So I have to have a good GPS that will get me to where I want to go and find me the fasted way home. I love that I can upgrade by connecting to my PC makes it very nice in for years to come.

The traffic alerts and the new routing algorithm make this much easier to use than my smartphone.

I decided to move up to a 5 inch GPS display. It is much easier to read while driving.

Nice unit, easy to use, has great options, glad to review-but why use 50 characters.
