Really? It's not a password. Still, I put in my name again, followed by my age and that was accepted as my user name. I took a road trip and had nothing but frustration. I decided to change settings so I plugged into my computer and could not enter my user name because Garmin instantly told me I am George". Not "George69". Naturally I don't know George's password so that is now a dead end. I shall try again to phone them.

Posted .I'm sorry for the frustration, George. Usernames are unique to the customer and two users cannot share the same username. Therefor 'George' already being used isn't very unusual since it's a common name.
