    This is the 2nd time I needed to purchase this product for my Garmin GPS. My original unit, after so many years of use, kept loosening its grip on the pad where it was positioned, so I kept having to re-clip it down-not something you want to or should do while driving. This works fine for its purpose as I did not want to spend a lot a money for an upgrade.

    Garmin has a bit of a racket going on this item. All I needed was a new suction cup, not the bracket or anything else. Apparently you cannot purchase the item individually, you have to purchase this kit. So I ended up paying $25 for a bunch of things I did not need just to get the suction cup.
