This is my third Garmin smartwatch. I upgraded from the Garmin Instinct because that one did not have a lot of the features I originally got a device for like reminding me to get up and move around every hour, etc.
The Venu 3 was easy to set up. I love being able to customize the watch face with info that I want to see and the battery life has been great. The touchscreen is very responsive and I haven't had any issues with visibility out in the sunlight. The Garmin Connect app is also really easy to use. All around another great product from Garmin.
This watch seems like a huge upgrade not only from the Instinct rugged models but also the Vivoactive models. I wasn't sure if I would be as impressed with the difference in price, but so far it's been well worth it!

Great watch! Got this for my wife to replace her fitbit and it does everything she would like a smart watch to do. I have an older venu and have loved mine for years. This new one has a better screen, is alightly larger and has abilities to take calls. The one grip i have is that there isn't an easy option for voice to text in responding to a message. Her old fitbit did that with a click of a button. This garmin does not allow you to directly respond to a text via voice but you have to ask your assistant to send a new message to whatever person.
Other than that flaw the watch is great so far!

The real deal regarding smartwatches/fitness trackers.
Battery is awesome, lasting days up to a week and then some. Had a Venu first gen and then this and even though both are great, this third gen is the way to go.
If you don’t want to get into the most advanced models, and still want to have a modern watch with most of the fitness features with a nice display and awesome battery life, this is it.
Don’t even look at the apple watch, it is awesome on so many features too, but the battery is years behind Garmin. Buy this until apple decides to increase its watch battery life. Then you will have to decide. For now, this Garmin Venu 3 is the way to go for sure.

I purchased tgis watch about a month ago. Overall it fits my needs. It is the perfect crosee between a smart watch and a fitness watch. It is awesome for runners. Heart rate and mileage is accurate. I cant say the same for lifting, but it gets what you need done.
On a full charge it ladts me about 7 days but, that is because of certain personal settings. It's leaps and bounds better than most smart watches i have previously owned.
Being able to download music to the watch is pretty awesome.saves you from dragging your phone along when working out. The challenges and badges are a fun touch to your fitness regiment.
Overall if you want fitness watch with the capability of a smart watch and won't break the bank this is definitely your watch.

The hardware is great. The watch is comfortable. The battery life is phenomenal. The heartrate and step tracking seem very accurate. The notifications from the phone are useful. There are a lot of interesting options with coaching and other feature I didn't get too deep into.
What I don't like about the Venu 3 is the software. I was trying this watch after using a Fitbit for years, and the Fitbit software experience is way better. First of all there is no web dashboard that I can find. The ONLY place you can see your data is in the smartphone app. There was no way that I could find to sync my Garmin health data with my other apps like Google Health, MyNetDiary, etc. I couldn't find a way to automatically sync my wifi scale to the Garmin either so I have to manually enter my calorie and weight data into Garmin's app, which is not something I had to worry about with the Fitbit.

Honestly, the best sports and health watch. I had the AW series ten and switched over. Yes there are some smart features it does have, but if you are even a slightly active person, this watch is leagues better than an Apple Watch. Plus the batter lasts 2 weeks.

First smart watch I have owned. Did not want to spend crazy amount on the high-end watches. I have used the Venu 3 to track sleep, body battery, track ECG and complete Health Snapshot. Happy with the purchase.

Great watch with great battery life. Get about 8 days depending on the number of activities you record. Plenty of options for activity tracking.
Speaker is so so, rarely use it and volume is sub par.
After 5 months it still works great. I wish Garmin had better watch faces that show text notifications. In addition the watch strap starts to show cosmetic wear after 4 months or so.

I purchased this as an upgrade to my Venu 2, and I am not disappointed. The new software, the larger screen, and the accuracy of both the heart rate sensor and the GPS are excellent.

This watch is great. It has helped me form some workout routines that keep my heart rate up while in the gym, counts my steps accurately and love how connect interfaces with my fitness pal. Battery lasts about a week and charges pretty quick when I charge it.

Got this for my husband and he is loving it! He went from and AppleWatch to Garmin (I myself switched from Fitbit to Garmin in September 2024 and love it, hence his switch to Garmin as well...plus we can challenge each other on the app haha)! Fitbit was nice but Garming truly comes with so much more in regard to many aspects (fitness tracking abilities, styles, customizing, etc.). He has been wearing the Venu 3 for a couple weeks now and has truly enjoyed it. His only issue is not finding his band the most comfortable but luckily that is an easy fix since there are quick and easy band change options.

Coming from the Apple Watch Ultra to set the stage here. I recently went back to an Android phone and wanted something more fitness related with better battery life. Getting calls and text was must so i chose the Venu 3. I have been happy in every way. This doesnt have the suite of connected apps and seemsless transiton from phone to device like a apple watch or samsung watch. But its screen, battery life, and fitness tracking are amazing. If you have been on the fence about getting one, consider this your sign to go head first.

The Garmin Venu 3 GPS has great battery life, and I enjoy not having to charge the watch frequently. I moved away from the apple watch because the battery life is horrible. The watch is also light weight and comfortable and provides excellent exercise performance monitoring. Also, the Garmin Venu 3 GPS is a great looking watch. I highly recommend the watch for those moving away from Apple watch.
