Love the large display . The unit gives all kinds of information I was expecting and some information that surprised me. This is a very nice product and worth every penny spent.

I love this watch. I bought it on a whim in order to better track my activity, sleep, and overall health and so far it has done a superb job. I don't have any way to determine how "accurate" this watch is overall, but it does maintain GPS more effectively than my Fitbit Sense. The display is vibrant and enjoyable to look at, especially with one of the many watch faces available via the ConnectIQ store (something for everyone). The thing that stands out the most about the Garmin ecosystem is the sheer amount of data they make available to you. THIS is what I wanted in a smart watch - the ability to export my data at will and not be stuck behind a paywall (looking at you fitbit) for many of the "insight" features. The watch is much more comfortable than other smart watches I've worn. I'm absolutely in love with the watch band and the metal / carbon fiber case is excellent. It doesn't get freezing cold in the winter and it's light enough for me to set it and forget it all day. If you like data and don't want to pay for or get ads for extra features, go with a Garmin. Overall, I think it feels a little less "fancy" than the Fitbit sense, but it does not feel cheap. It's a great watch that I would recommend to anyone, especially around the $200 price mark. I will be looking at picking up a new Venu once my Geek Squad coverage runs out on this guy.

I gave it a 3 star because it really isn't made for people that work out inside or are novice golfers and it's just to big. I wish they had it smaller with the AMOLED screen. I would not pay this much for another one. I bought this for the AMOLED screen, the built in GPS for golfing, the multiple work outs and being able to have quick responses for texting and calls , I have yet to figure out how to quick respond to calls. It either has an accept or decline but not a way to quick respond. The screen is really nice to see your stats as you are outside. I walk outside and love that I can see it without having to wait for shade and then stopping to view it. The bike work out sucks if you ride a stationary bike like you don't get distance or speed. Even if you want that you have to spend money on an accessory to put on your wheel spoke. For the price it should do that automatically, my Microsoft band did it. Like other fitness watches the elliptical tracking is not accurate at all. The golf app is nice if you are a bogey or under golfer. After you hit bogey it doesn't let you pick your club anymore and automatically go to your next hole. I did figure out though that after you put your score in for the next hole and your putts it will generate to the next hole when you get there. Overall if you are active outdoors and want to pay for the accessory, at $35.00, to track your distance and speed on your bike this is for you. Don't make the mistake I did and think the Cadence acccesory is for distance it's not. If you work out mainly indoors buy a cheaper one and save the money. Out of all the fitness watches I've had I would say this is right behind the Microsoft band but seeing they don't make them anymore I would buy another Garmin. It will be just a cheaper smaller one.

I was going to buy an Iwatch and read a few reviews about this watch that made me change my mind and go for it. Has great battery life, about 5 days unless you’re in constant GPS mode. I like the internal memory you can upload song and leave your phone behind on runs or biking. Construction doesn’t feel too sturdy, I thought about buying the BB warranty but it felt too pricey for the watch. Smartphone capabilities are limited, you only get notifications, you can’t answer back, so you have to decide whether that works for you. Screen display is much brighter than the iwatch even at 50%. If you don’t care for the display go for the Vivoactive 4, same features and less money.

My Garmin Venu Smartwatch is a great addition to my fitness routine. It lets me know at a glance my heart rate, respiration, blood oxygen levels, and other important information. One reason I purchased this was that it is also a great golf watch. It can help track statistics on the golf course, and the front, middle, and back distance on the green. It has also been great for walking and tracking steps and where walking for exercise happens with the GPS capabilities. I am enjoying my Venu.

I was hesitant to buy this watch since I already have an Apple watch. I am a runner and wanted a watch that would give me instant feedback on heart rate an an accurate GPS. After about a month I am thinking about ditching the Apple. The face on the Garmin is more runner friendly and easier to see in the dark. I like the feedback it gives me when I reach my daily goals and is every bit as good as the Apple watch if not better - Battery life lasts 3+ days so I don't have to charge it every night. I am very satisfied.

I love this watch. First, the charge lasts 3-4 days. It watches your stress levels.... I didn’t realize that sometimes at work, I would be stressed but didn’t need to be. It helped me just take a few more breaths. The sleeping is great. Those are all minor compared to how accurate the tracking is- which is why we switched to this brand versus Apple. My husband purchased the Fenix and I have the Venu. We are both 100% happier with these based on tracking alone. It gives your a ton of information such as oxygen levels, hydration, accurate elevation, etc. Great product. I also think it sits very comfortably.

I am a runner. This watch is way better than my Samsung Active 2 watch for running. This watch is lighter weight. This watch holds a battery life for much longer. Also, the Garmin connect analysis will show much more insight into your run. This watch's GPS is also way better than the active 2. At first I had trouble with downloading my music but eventually I got it to upload and I am listening to music now. Make sure your headphones have a volume feature on them its way more handy that way.

I bought this watch to replace my worn out Polar M400. I like that this watch does not require a heart strap to measure pulse (and seems to be accurate). The display is bright and for me the watch will last about 3.5 days before recharging is necessary. Unless you are familiar with Garmin, this watch takes a little while to understand the features (I'm still working on this!).

Good durable smart watch for activity based users. The screen looks significantly sharper than the Vivoactive 2 and 3 and I like that it feels light on my wrist. The only con I would say is the battery life lasts only around 3 days, but that is pretty standard for smart watches. Overall, no real complaints.
