I love my Garmin Vivoactive 5! The bright screen makes it easy to read anywhere, and it keeps track of everything from my workouts to my sleep. The battery lasts for days, and it’s so comfortable I forget I’m wearing it. It’s perfect for staying active and feeling motivated every day

I’ve noticed it miscounts steps when I’m pushing a stroller, unless I manually select an activity mode.
Overall, I’m very happy with the upgrade - impressive battery life and comfortable wear.

I love this watch. I would recommend this to anyone that is on a fitness journey. I love how it tracks my step accurately. And how it tracks my sleep. This is one of the best fitness watches I have purchased.

Ive had this for 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it. All of the options for excersise and the app is great, you don't need to pay for anything on the app if you don't want to and is still beneficial to whatever you use this watch for. The battery life is also amazing I've only jad to charge this once so far and its still going strong.

Been an Apple Watch goer since 2017 & I’m so happy I finally made the switch. Cheaper, more accurate, battery lasts longer, & it tracks reps / sets in the gym! Definitely recommend.

Absolutely love everything about this! The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the band tears easily and you have to update the watch through the app often.. at least I do but other than those, it is an amazing watch and easy to use!

I originally bought the Garmin Vivoactive 5 and it was amazing but sadly i had some complications with that watch so i traded that in and purchased the Vivoactive 6 & it’s even more amazing, the staff helped make the process smooth and effortless. 10/10

Honestly I went back and forth between buying a pixel watch and upgrading to another Fitbit, until I started reading reviews of the Garmin line. Fitbit lost me by removing a bunch of really important features from their watches, and the pixel watch or the Samsung watch are a non-starter for me because of the tiny battery life. So I went with this vivoactive 5, and I am so glad I did. This is a beautiful watch with a gorgeous display, an amazing 12-day battery life, accurate tracking and comfortable to wear. Plus it has smartwatch features that keep you connected to your phone without sucking you into constantly looking at a tiny screen all day.

I bought it to track heart activity, oxygen, sleep patterns/health and to have a vibrating alarm. I use it to achieve zone 2 aerobic activity as well - so, have to touch it and swipe to see it while exercising. Seems to do the things i want and probably things I don’t care so much about. Wish you could zoom in on charts, but not a big deal. Takes some practice and video watching to figure out how to use it. Same for app, not all of it is intuitive. After a week or so starts to be second nature.

There are a few software and hardware issues that keep me from giving this 5 stars. But overall, it's been a good replacement for my Fitbit Charge 4.
Software - it doesn't do as good a job at recognizing steps when I'm pushing a lawnmower or similar, as the Fitbit did. But it does record distance (which may be less relevant, as I'm not focused on distance for fitness).
It also doesn't seem to recognize the need for additional hydration when I'm using the golf app. My typical hydration needs are 2 quarts per day. When I use a walking app to track lawn work, it shows that additioal hydration need for the day. But when I use the golf app for golf, it don't recognize the additional hydration need. Even though I've got an elevated heart rate and breathing rate going. I'm pushing a cart, so it's not seeing those steps.
Hardware - I don't get anywhere near the advertised duration between charges - it's under a week for the way I use it. I wish there was a way to turn off the on-board GPS (which seems to take a lot of battery) for exercises where it's not needed (lawn work, etc.).
I like a lot of the information provided. I'm not sure about the accuracy of either this or the Fitbit it replaced for sleep tracking - but it does seem consistent within itself, not with the Fitbit.
