    Gas range

    He was fast knew what he was doing and polite!! They were on time and didn't tear up anything. The only thing was the first 2 ranges were damaged and i had to wait almost a month for another range i think i should have received some kind of discount!!!!

    Stove is awesome, but the gas leak from installation...not so much. We had to redo the installation with the gas line, because the man installing the stove did not put the thread sealant pipe tape on the gas line connecting the stove to the wall line. My entire family had headaches the following days after installation, but we did not notice the smell until leaving the house for several hours and then returning. I used a water spray bottle to see if there was bubbles or leaking in the line and to my surprise both ends of the gas line connector piece showed a leak. See attached images. Needless to say, I'm glad to be alive and that we caught it sooner rather than later. These guys definitely need more training. Not only that, I have been on the phone for over 1 hour just trying to get through to someone at Best Buy to get a refund for the services that were subpar...mind you I've spoken to 4 different people (one in store, and 3 via Geek Squad) and they keep transferring me to another department. At this point it may be a wash getting a refund as it is nearly impossible to get through to customer service in the "Appliance Resolution" department. Bottom-line, service installers need more training before they do installation that could potentially harm customers.

    RANGE WAS DELIVERED AND CONNECTED TO THE GAS LINE ONLY ONE PROBLEM. THE RANGE IS IN ALL KINDS OF PIECES MY FIANCE HAS NO TOOLS OR NO IDEA OF HOW TO PUT IT TOGETHER WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THE RANGES IN ALL KINDS OF PIECES WE WILL BE UNABLE TO USE IT ASK FOR HELP ON PUTTING OUR APPLIANCE TOGETHER THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE DONE WHEN IT WAS INSTALLED IF NOT WE'RE NOT GOING TO BUY ANY MORE APPLIANCES FROM BEST BUY EVER AGAIN NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY THIS IS TURNING OUT WITH OUR PURCHASE

    The Best Buy installer was able to unlock a very tight shutoff valve and replace the shutoff valve with a new one

    Had this installed at my vacation home . Was charged $89 for a new valve because they said old one was wrong size. 3 weeks later went to house and walked into the strong odor of gas. Had to have gas company come to clear house and was told the valve the installer put on was wrong and gas had been leaking the entire time. Thankfully gas co replaced before Anything dangerous happened. Gas Co. said I should get my money back for part. Very disappointed as oven has industrial glue dropped on range. Was offered $150 Best Buy gift card to try and get it off myself. After 2 hours i still haven’t removed it all . Also installer scrapped my brand new flooring .

    The team from Best Buy and Pacific Gas & Electric to the installation crew were excellent, helpful, professional and courteous. The initial purchase proved to be a defective product which was leaking gas in the oven. It was replaced in a timely manner and all is well.

    The delivery guy didn’t install my stove. He just dropped it off. He used the excuse that we didn’t have the right size kit, and he just left it there uninstalled… I had to install it myself with the same kit he said was the wrong one. It’s been working great ever since. The guy just didn’t want to do it. I was extremely disappointed with the service that I paid extra for. Reason I chose to pay extra was because I have a back injury, with sciatic problems, and I thought I’d give myself an easy experience with the new stove and have it installed for me. But no. Really disappointed with Best Buy.

    Horrible dent in it then they tore my new floor up too.end cap missing on refigerator.and no end cap on refigerator.manager couldnt get me one my fllor is brand new im not settling for 200 dollors to fix it my contractor said min 500 they have to take all vinyl laminate out.stove dented.ypu cant call the store at all ill never buy nothing here again and they dont comisate.me for my floor it will go to bbb and yelp facebook printess and in newspaper about this business you cant get hold of anyone.

    They followed guidelines from the pandemic which I Appreciated, they knew what to do they did I an excellent job. They did it fast and they explained how to used and also explained about all the new thech that the Stove offered... very Happy

    The motto on the Best Buy website for the Delivery + Professional Installation is "It's Working When We Leave". Well this was not the case in my situation. Our oven stopped heating recently, the cost of the part and labor to repair was almost as much as buying a new range. So we shopped around a few store to find the best deal on a new gas range. We found an excellent price on a Samsung 5.8 cubic feet gas range. Placed the order online, purchased the all the items needed for the range as well as the professional installation services. A few days later the range was delivered by XPO or XBO some company Best Buy contracted for their appliance deliveries I suppose. Any who the "professional installer" comes in and asks where the gas shut off valve is, I show him where it was (I knew this was the gas shut off valve because when the old range was removed this is the gas off at) under my cabinet. The "professional installer" told me that was not it, I informed the installer that it was, as the valve was shut off the night before after the original range was removed. He proceed to tell me that was not the valve, went back outside wheeled the new range in and left it in the middle of my kitchen. I told him I paid for the range to be installed his response was to call Best Buy to get a refund. At this point I no longer wanted to deal with this "professional installer" so as he was walking out he door, I was dialing the number to Best Buy. The first call, they reviewed my order and said they would have to wait until the installer came back to the warehouse before they can reschedule. I ask the CSR what time would that be, they said 8pm. Unacceptable especially when you paid for services upon delivery of your item. The second call, they reviewed my order again, transferred me a few times. When I finally spoke with someone I explained my story again, told them I have family coming in for the holidays, I need my range working. I was informed y issue was escalated and assign to a case manager who would give me a call within an hour. Third call two hours went by no call from case manager, called Best Buy again was on hold for about 15 minutes, then transferred to another department and on hold again for 20 minutes. When I finally got a CSR o the line, they told me the case manager was working on it and they would transfer me over to speak with him. I was on hold for another 15 minutes before I was told the my case manager just had another issue pop on his screen and he should call me back before he leaves for the day. I asked the CSR about what time would that be, she said 8pm hmmm ok. So still no call from case manager and it is after 8pm, so I called again fourth call was on hold for almost an hour this time I was transferred to Geek Squad, the CSR really tried, called XPO, Home Delivery, etc he included me in the call and conversation. However it still did not resolve the issue. Not sure what happen to the case manager, but the final outcome was to have someone come out Saturday Christmas Eve to install the gas range. SO with that being said, I would never, ever recommended anyone use the "professional installation" especially for a gas range. I have a family with three small children and no stove or oven to cook with. I will have to find an installer on my own so I can get this taken care of today.

    The gentleman were fast clean and kind and made sure to not hit the walls. That the stove was mot damaged made sure it was level and how to run it for an bit and why it would smell.

    the stovetop has clean lines, a large display, and the grates are hinged for easy access. The oven is large with 3 racks! The convection fan is very recessed so it takes a very small potion of the interior. It’s a beauty.
