    Delivery men would not remove the old range nor install the new one until I had the gas valve replaced, so they left the new one, in the box, in my living room. Had difficulty arranging for installation as I kept being informed that the range has been delivered. Finally was able to connect with someone who scheduled the installation; this crew was great. Only other issue was it did not come with an owner’s manual. I was told I would have to go online and download it myself. Not happy with that.

    Our delivery team was courteous, efficient, and on time. We moved a couple of things to give them a very wide path to the stove. Turns out that wasn't necessary. These guys know what they are doing! They did appreciate the extra room to move. They take away the packing materials, so once they leave, you only have to straighten up YOUR mess. Highly recommended.

    Installation was okay, but I did have to ask the installers to level the stove (and come now, on a 30" stove, please use a level that is more that 6 inches). I provided a 24" level sure enough, more adjustment was needed. Also, most annoying about the deliver/install process was a burner knob was missing from the front of this $3,000 stove. Installers acted like nothing wrong, or at least made no mention of it. I asked and no offer of getting a replacement. Thankfully Cliff, my salesperson took care of it by pulling a matching knob of the showroom model - so no order from manufacturer In summary, installation could have been more professional and I would recommend you be there when installed.

    Nicholas and his partner were extremely professional, friendly and very helpful in delivering our new Samsung range. They called prior to delivery and arrived within a half hour into the 4 hours window which was fantastic. They made sure the product was level, installed properly and in working condition. Since we have a small galley kitchen, we had to removed the doors on our refrigerator to move the stove in. - they sit across from one another and space is tight. They made sure to help my husband put the doors back on our refrigerator and reconnect the water line. This was above and beyond and extremely appreciated. They were both very knowledgeable and answered our questions . I’ll definitely recommend Best Buy in the future and will continue to purchase major appliances and other products from Best Buy.

    They did a good job of installation and even a good job leveling my range. I told them I didn't want lopsided cakes and they made sure that would not happen. I haven’t baked a cake yet but I can tell because the oil in my frying pan does not pool to one side like it did with my old range. Since it was a slide in range with an island in front of it I am sure it wasn’t easy. I wish they would have taken the protective plastic sheeting off the range and also off of the fridge they brought. They warned me not to heat the range up until it was all off. Some was hard to see. I still had some on my fridge 3 weeks later when my dishwasher was delivered. That installer took it all of the dishwasher and we asked him about a place we saw on the fridge. Turned out the doors were still completely covered. He said the other installer should have taken it off.

    I'm very happy with my new gas stove so far. It looks solid and fits in well with my kitchen design. It has many new features that I know I will enjoy, especially while using the cooktop which I use more than oven or broiler. I like the design with the middle grill, allowing as easy slide around the cooking surface. The top design also allows for easy cleaning. Gas cooking offers immediate controls of the heat surface. I am looking forward to trying the new design for oven steam cleaning. And I'm hoping to now find a fan designed to efficiently exhaust directly outdoors--so that I can avoid the blaring monitor events that occurred with my old gas stove. Thanks for asking, Carole

    We actually had two different crews try to install our oven. The first one didn't seem to want to hook up the gas-line and told us it wasn't possible. I had to pay an HVAC company to come out and connect the line after the delivery team just left the oven here. There were other minor issues that came from that but that wasn't on Best Buy. The crew that came to install this range was fast and clean. They knew what they needed to do and did it quickly. I was impressed with how easily they removed the old range without any trouble or damage to my home or any of my personal items. My overall experience with Best Buy was a little frustrating due to delays in product availability and initially installing an oven that did not have the main capability we purchased the oven for in the first place. (airfry) However, it was not anyone's fault really. The product number was right, the model number was right, it was just some kind of a fluke from the manufacturer. In the end they took care of everything and we got what we originally ordered, just took a little longer. And that is the world we live in these days.

    This is DSI definition of professional installation. Keep in mind this was a return and exchange for exact same range that was delivered two days prior. There is a reason, Best Buy has leased space on their floor to local home appliance companies as they are aware of warehouse issue of outsourcing to third party, but profit margins are too lucrative to make necessary changes. Resulting in a role of dice for consumer based on volume of deliveries that day - will handle surplus with untrained and unprofessional staff. Lead removed range that was to be returned (faulty ignition switch/electronics) and while was putting in truck, assistant decided to install himself. Pictures are self explanatory, somehow during process managed to remove cardboard that was used for removal of range and scruff floors. First attempt at installation of new range resulted in 2 inch drop of top of stove to countertop. Second attempt resulted in picture shown and told job best could do. When said not going anywhere and how can you say that knowing same range was just there less than 5 minutes earlier properly installed. Told don't have time for this and walked off job. That was only the beginning of trouble with DSI as was told insurance would handle claim for damage to flooring and experience encountered. Truth be told, since it's a subcontractor - Best Buy washes its hand once in their backend system end of day as been delivered. Consumer left dealing with unmotivated and unprofessional company DSI, sweeping things under the rug as they do not want the CSAT hit to their location. AVOID AT ALL COSTS and pay a little more to have delivered/installed by more reliable and professional organization.

    It came over around lunch time and once it found a place to get comfy, a connection was made and it went in smooth! Just the right size for my space. Definitely calling this thing back.

    Depends on whether I'm rating the first or second pair of guys who came out. Team 1, who came with the stove, get 1 star. They removed the old, hooked up the new, and didn't damage anything. It was supposed to be leveled as part of the installation, and was obviously not. When I pointed out that it was still off by both his and my Level, I was told "Well that's as level as it's gonna get." They then left. I thought they were coming back upstairs to finish the wifi setup, but they were just gone. Team 2, who came out the next day(?) to do the wifi and address the leveling problem, were a stark contrast to Team 1. I would give them 4.75 stars. Patrick and his partner quickly leveled the stove perfectly. They did have trouble with the wifi/app setup, but scheduled a Geek Squad appointment for me to get it resolved. (I figured it out after they left - a permission on my phone needed to be granted.) Anyway, all ended well, but Team 1 was the first time I have EVER been dissatisfied with anyone I've dealt with in depth from/at Best Buy. (They're also the first subcontractors I've ever had to deal with via Best Buy.)

    It took three ranges before I got a keeper so I have more experience with installations than most folks. 1st install: Installer has the box with the new gas connection line and its adapters. None of them fit, Best Buy only has this one hose kit - according to the installation guy and the Geek Squad guy I talk to on the phone - and I have to go to buy a kit myself. He returns a couple of days later to do the install. He turns on the burners, checks that the oven comes on, says it is fine and leaves. Oven light will not go out, error message says the oven door is open. It isn't but I check it and try, and try, etc. I call and someone will be out to check on it. The circuit board was faulty. 1st installer gets an average rating - did not have parts that were needed for the install, then rushed out the door without properly checking that the range worked properly. BTW, he and his helper spoke Spanish in a dialect I could only pick up a few words from. His accent was so heavy and English so rudimentary that we had a difficult time discussing why I had to buy another hose kit. 2nd installer - This time things seemed to be better. I had the proper hose and connectors; the guy seemed to have more knowledge. After he left I noticed that the range was not level so I tried to adjust the feet. The back left corner that should be engaged in the anti-tip-over bracket was not secure and seemed to be at least 1/4" play before it hit the floor. It turned out that the frame was bent - the foot could not be adjusted and was floating above the bracket. The installer had to lift the back of the range to push it against the wall. He should have known it didn't seem right and checked to see what was wrong. 2nd installer gets an average score. 3rd installer - The previous installer(s) had installed the pressure valve on the wrong end of the gas hose. He showed me what was wrong, explained why, and got a new hose kit from his truck. Yeah, even though Best Buy doesn't supply their trucks with any kit but the one that doesn't fit, this guy has one. He knew his stuff, was friendly and informative, took the time to tell my wife about the functions. 3rd driver gets an excellent score. Overall Good score is a reflection of 2 Average and 1 Excellent score.

    On Nov 27, 2025, I made an online purchase from Best Buy of a LG Slide-In Gas Range, at what I thought was a good price. I also paid for them to haul away the old range and install the new one. I was told that a team would come on Saturday, Nov. 29 to do the work. They did, indeed, show up with the range, but told me that they couldn’t haul away the old one, nor could they install the new one because they didn’t know how. So, they put my recently purchased new range back on their truck and drove away. Then followed the NIGHTMARE of interaction with the Best Buy so-called “customer service” department, all the representatives of which were in India since the local store never answers their phone, but transfers all calls to the phone bank in India. After repeated phone calls and online live texts, and waiting on hold as long as 50 minutes, I finally managed to get the service rescheduled to Monday, Dec. 1. I made an in person visit to the local Best Buy store and was told that it looked like everything was set on my account, but they couldn’t tell me anything more than what they saw on their screen. The team again showed up with my range, brought it inside, set it down in its box in the kitchen, and told me that they couldn’t haul away my old range or install the new one because they did not have the skills to do so!! This was followed by multiple additional calls and texts to the people in India with many promises of fixing the situation; but nothing happened. I made a second in person visit to the local store and this time spoke with a manager who arranged another haul off/installation date for Thursday, Dec. 11. I took off another day from work to be at home to admit the installers, but received a call from the person they sent telling me that he couldn’t install the new range because he didn’t work with gas. So, a no show. Then came another series of phone calls with the people in India who rescheduled the installation and haul away yet again for Saturday, Dec. 13. Once again they cancelled and didn’t show, the FOURTH time!!! If possible I would give Best Buy customer service negative stars instead of just one. I am VERY unhappy with the shoddy treatment I have received from Best Buy and will never purchase anything from them again. I will now schedule installation and haul away with a third party not related to Best Buy and pay for it myself. Buyer beware!!
