Save your money - it's not worth it

I'd had a GE before that was similar, and it had lasted for years. The first microwave of this model started smelling like the house was burning down -- see the numerous other reviews that mention this. And then it died. I'd only had it for about 6 months, so I went through the GE warranty process. You have to make a claim, then wait for GE to approve it. They will only reimburse you for buying another GE product. And you have to wait for weeks to get the reimbursement after you purchase a new one. This model was the only suitable GE at Best Buy, so I bought it again. I've had it for 10 months. No bad burning smell from this one. Instead, it's turning on all by itself. The only way to turn it off is to pull the plug. The off/cancel button doesn't work. It will not be replaced by anything made by GE.
