If it appears that the plastic coating over the keypad is degrading, then please check to be sure it is not the protective keypad covering that comes on new microwaves and should be removed. If this is not the case, then we recommend contacting GE Factory Service at 1-800-432-2737 for assistance.

I bought this after my old one finally gave up the ghost and stopped working after over a decade of hard use. Note that this one is the next generation of my old one. The reheat feature works great.

This is a time tested product for us. It is the third, of this model, that we have owned in approximately 20 years. It performs well. There were no suprises.

Worst Microwave

I went back to BB and unfortunately I didn’t buy the warranty on a microwave. This was the last time I bought a GE good for two months piece of junk microwave. Don’t buy it. I went back and bought a different brand and I got the warranty. Skip this piece of junk and spend your money on a Panasonic or get the warranty so you can return it in two months when it breaks.
