    There is a sound whenever microwave is stopped- i feel that is a glass sound. The exhauster mesh is coming out - whenever we use exhauster So maybe a check is required to make sure it’s properly installed!!

    Just picked up our new microwave this week. We really missed our old one when it finally went kaput after 17 years. Yes, like many we had to wait on delivery to the store for pick up. We believe it was worth the wait! The controls are easy to use and makes kitchen duties much more pleasant.

    Best replacement microwave to my aged 10 year old builder installed GE product. Less finger print smudges over the stainless steel surfaces and the color matches perfectly with the other SS appliances in my kitchen. It being new, heats up things faster too.

    Great microwave for the price, however has a flaw. I’m on my 3rd one in 10 years. Over time, twice now, a lever/switch inside the locking mechanism on the door begins to move and shorts out the microwave. It’s a known problem through GE.
