Controls are easy to figure out. Whenever instruction give two cooking times which depend on the power I've never had to use the longer time. Two people better for installing if you a re DIYer. Even if you can handle the weight of the microwave it's too bulky to see the mounting tabs in back .

Unless I get the right light, I can't see the words well enough to operate it. Now that I am getting more familiar with things, it's getting easier to manage it. We're retired so it may not be so challenging for younger people.

Besides the price, we liked the style of the GE 1.6 and the easy to understand control system! Now that we have had it for some time, we are very satisfied with it`s performance and convenience!

That made it easy to hang and easy to use. Works just like I had hoped.

In stock and great price. We have been using it for over a month now No Complaints. Glad we checked out Best Buy. Will be the first place we look for any replacement in our home

The salesman claimed they all were about the same size. Not true. I researched the depth and height dimensions to get one that fit. This seems quiet and decent.

Posted .We are glad to hear that your microwave was fixed and working well now. It is normal for the unit to make sounds while operating. Normal sounds can be produced by the appliance as well as the food being heated in the appliance. Please review the article titled “Microwave - Arcing or Making Sounds” on the GE Appliances website.
