    It takes a good yank and push to open and close the door. Therefore, I'm concerned how the door will hold up in the long run. Our old GE from the 90's had a better mounting system.

    Very easy to install it took about 1/2 hour to install. The only thing that I don’t like is that the control buttons aren’t back lit and are sometimes hard to read.

    It’s great for the price. A little slower to cook than my previous microwave I had to replace but expected for the price difference. Still better than most I have had. I would buy it again

    I bought this GE microwave specifically to replace the other one that I had since 2014. I wanted the same one because I have been so pleased with the way the display is laid out and the features. The only thing that is different is the reheat mode. I like the old one better because it displayed the name (one push showed pizza, two showed veg, etc.). The new model only says rh1, rh2, etc. so I have to learn what each one is, but other than that I really like this brand and model.

    Very flimsy sheet metal works. None of the provided screws can make the provided hood adapter tied and secure. I purchased this 9th generation to replace my 5th generation with. None of the mounting brackets and holes matches existing. I ended up to make more holes adjacent to the existing ones on the cabinets and the wall, which ended up to make big holes, and using washers to hang the new microwave. So frustrating. I don't understand why GE made it so difficult to the their loyal customers.

    This is a replacement microwave and the unit fit perfectly in the space available. It took a little getting used to the new buttons and how to work it, but it work fine.
