I wish the light inside was brighter, and that the buttons were arranged differently on the front. Still good microwave for the money

Worked well for one year. One month after the warranty the Microwave kept tripping the breaker. Had to call a repair person. Spoke with other GE owners and they had similar issues. Plus it was a over the range mount so it not like you can just go and replace it easily. Next microwave will be placed on the kitchen counter.

Almost perfect installation

Installation was fairly easy except for one of the retaining screws on top of the microwave. The bracket for the screw detached within the microwave leaving the screw without support.. Considering the appliance is over 50 lbs, the lack of full support is troubling but hopefully the other screws will provide enough support for the appliance.

Good performance only lasted 14 months

I bought this in October of 2018 and the 1-year warranty just expired. It just stopped working last weekend when turned on( just kept tripping the breaker). I tested the thermal fuses and door switches but couldn't find anything wrong. Get the warranty if you buy this. Putting mine out for the trash. The GE microwave we had in our house prior last 16 years.

This Microwave was loud & noisy. It worked good though while it lasted. Bought in Oct. 22 & it quit working January 24. If you buy this get the extended warranty for sure.

The microwave is still working, but the LCD display is flickering badly. I bought it in March 2023 and the display started acting up in May 2024. I was worried about the quality from the start because of the weakness the chassis. Once it was installed, there was visible sag and flex on the top of the unit.

Don't Try to Fix If It Is Not Broke

I could have rated this Microwave oven a 5 if GE had left the express cook (1-6) buttton's program in place as it was with the old model. With This new model the (1-6) express cook buttons can only be used for a particular time, instead of vegies, pasta, soups, etc.

Bought this to replace a GE over the range microwave that had the door handle falling off. 1 year and 2 months after installation the handle is now falling off the new GE. 2 months past the warranty expiration of course. Lesson learned no more GE appliances in my home. It functioned very well while it had an intact door assembly.

Installation was sort of tricky along with the direction of the vent but with a little patience we figured it out.

So far microwave has worked fine, although it's only been a week since it was installed, with one small issue--one of the filters underneath keeps falling out. I've managed to put it back, but apparently not securely so not sure how to make stay in place longer.

Product good the installation was very bad very bad

Their tool that was supposed to be for locating th e top hole was very difficult to use. Also not very powerful in use.
