I saw this microwave in the store and decided that I liked it more than the 2003 microwave that was sitting over my range. I ordered it, they delivered it, and now I am satisfied. Three men removed the old microwave, installed the new one, and cleaned up all the mess in no time at all. Watching them work, I was so happy that I had not tried to do the entire job by myself. Thanks Best buy!

I bought this on sale to make some changes in the kitchen and turn all appliances to white. Great addition! No cons so far while using it.

This one is not as user friendly as the old one. Buttons for light and fan should be at the bottom away from function keys. I can tell not as solid in the making, but the appearance is better. I hope the handle holds up better with new design. I am well PLEASED with Best Buy service :)

We love our new microwave! Esp since all the buttons work and also our new microwave doesn't turn on when we open the door, like our last one started doing right before we got rid of it. I hope we weren't being microwaved! Yikes!!
good product but not fit for 15 inch deep cabinets

Microwave is very good; however, installation instructions are not correct. If your cabinet is 15 inches deep, you need some additional support at the back wall, door of microwave should stick out of the cabinet otherwise it will not open properly. GE should mention this in their instructions.

The microwave does everything it’s supposed to. But the handle cracked off and the screws (inside the door!)to replace handle require the door be removed. The cost of repair is more than a new one.

I have to press the buttons EXTREMELY hard to get them to register. I spoke with a friend who purchased the same oven, and she has the same problem. Also, if you don't press "start" right away, it resets itself and you have to reenter everything.

Bought open box "excellent" -- doesn't work

I bought this microwave open box, rated "excellent" (which is described as, "Works and looks like new. Includes all parts and accessories. Packaging may vary or be absent.") At the store, we plugged it in and confirmed it powered on -- so I figured the "excellent" label was accurate.
Unfortunately, once I got it home, I discovered the microwave was missing its mounting bracket and bolts. I called Best Buy and they said they were unable to locate these missing parts and all they could do was refund ~$17, the equivalent of the price difference between an "excellent" open box product and "good". I considered returning it, but figured it was worth spending that money to get the missing piece from GE.
Fast forward a week of waiting for the piece to arrive, and I was able (after almost two hours of work) to get the microwave mounted on our wall. Only issue -- it doesn't heat food. I called GE and they sent a repairperson (under warranty), and we're now waiting for a backordered part to arrive...but I'm very disappointed that a product sold to me as "excellent" working order has been anything but.

Exchange Samsung for GE microwave

I like this simple model, has one button cook time for minutes 1 thru 6, has 30 second add button. I really like the white interior as makes it nice & bright. My previous model had a gray interior which I dreaded, as so dark. I also like the centered under microwave light for the cooking surface of my stove.

Microwave works good. Had to return the first one because of a nut problem in the top where it bolts to the cabinet. Best buy took it back no question and ordered another one. Just had to wait another 3 days. After that it was all good. New one is quieter than the old one that was the same model but 12 years older.

Very pleased. With it . I only got one thing from them that I was very upset with , was my refrigerator that I got only last one year . I need to got another one but I am looking around
