Great addition to Kitched

Wanted to stick with GE so no modifications would be needed to reinstall new microwave. The old one was white. The new microwave is stainless steel. What a difference the stainless steel makes in my kitchen! It looks classy! I like the features, it is quieter and seems to heat food faster. I am very pleased with the price, the style and the functionality.

I am replacing a microwave from 1994 that was still going strong only replaced for cosmetic reasons. So far it works great. Installation was a little annoying with templates they give. I found it easier to just pull out a ruler measure where the holes are going for brackets and too bolts. Overall it works great.. we rarely use it for anything more than a 2:00 minute cook.. serves our needs well.

Appearance is nice and it heats up great. Way better than the one it replaced. Overall he is happy with it and says it met his needs.

The model is completely changed and will not match previously installed models, meaning the installation will need to be from scratch.

If you received a different model than the one you purchased and want to reach out to Best Buy about this, their customer service is available at 1 (888) 237-8289. If you received the model you ordered but aren’t happy with its design, we can advise that as well as similar models being released over time, design changes may also be made to models over the years. For over-the-range microwaves, we can also advise the hardware (including the mounting bracket) that comes with the new unit should be used. Changes may have been made to the hardware design even if the model is the same, and we cannot speak to the compatibility, safety and reliability of using old hardware with a new microwave.
