Low-quality touch pad. Poor design of controls.

The design of the controls is poor, and the touch-pad had already to show delamination “rings” around the areas that are used most frequently. I don’t recommend this GE microwave.

I'd like point out that I did not have any trouble seeing letter and numbers on the keypad (I read many owners complained of an illegible keypad on the reviews). The handle feels somewhat lighter than my previous GE microwave but no issues there.

They isn’t many options with black products so I was happy I came across this one. It look beautiful too

I mounted the unit by myself quickly and works flawlessly. It has the nightlight, turntable and popcorn quick access button. It heats quickly and I would purchase it again and recommend it without reservation.

Posted .The top opening is the microwave's exhaust vent. It is there so heat, steam, and cooking fumes from your cooktop can escape properly. Your comment regarding this is important to us. We will be sure to pass this along to our product design team for review.

I really like the light and vent which comes on automatically when heat rises from the stove. It even shuts off itself. Spacious and the settings are exactly what I needed to meet the needs of my large family. I love it!
