I tried to buy a reasonably priced model but I guess the old adage, “You get what you pay for” holds true. In the future I will be more conscious of getting better upgrades than just the price of what I am buying.

Thank fully used a nearly identical mounting plate as the previous GE microwave. I had to modify it slightly with some tin snips removing 1/2" from the hooks at the bottom, but easier than remounting a new plate. Otherwise easy installation, even by myself. Not problems yet, works like it should.

It was so quiet compared to my old one I thought it was the fan hitting something. Thought maybe it would go away, but it occurred every time I used the microwave more than 2 minutes. After I finally got GE out to look at the noise it was the capacitor.
