Turntable confusion

I cannot figure out why the turn table does not consistently turn. Obviously I am missing the boat in the sequence of button pressing, it is supposed to default to turntable on after each setting. I had a service tech come out during the warranty period, of course it didn’t fail. What am I missing?

DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE. Loud Vent fan comes on automatically every time regardless of whether your range is on. We believed it was a product defect & had a technician from GE come take a look, and their explanation was that the new microwave units have only one fan rather than two, and therefore will automatically come on every time to regulate the internal temperature. Doesn't make much sense. The signage in the microwave itself and in the manual states "Vent fan may start automatically" but the word "May" doesn't imply that it will start automatically every time. Look elsewhere.

Big Power surge when door is opened

The microwave looks nice and is somewhat understandable to operate. Unfortunately, 13-months, three days after I purchased it, it died (12m warranty). At first it would blow a breaker frequently when I would open the door with it turned on. When I finally moved it to its own circuit, it must have pushed too much current and fried the internals.
The clock display is ok, but also hard to read from a distance. I suggest looking for alternatives.

I purchased an over the range microwave August 17th I believe . Before I was able to mount it I used it 3 times then it quit working. I called GE and they will be coming out September 24th to see if they can repair it. I’ve always loved GE appliances and I believe that this time my luck ran out. I’ll continue with GE however concerning this product I have to rate it a 2

Very loud. Stopped heating after 2 years. Display blinking was an issue at random after the 1st years. But now just after 2 years it wont heat.
Now do we replace with same crappy quality to use same mounting or drill more holes into our tile and cabinets. ???

Buyer Beware

I purchased this microwave in March as a replacement as a replacement for the same model (repairman said it would cost $325 to repair and there would be a chance that the second sensor could stop working). The repairman said that there is a defect in GE microwaves and my electrician suggested I purchase another brand. The new microwave stopped working 6 weeks after installation. Called GE for service. The microwave was taken to repair shop for diagnosis and repair. After 6 weeks, I was called and told the part arrived but it was defective so the part had to be reordered. The microwave was finally repaired and reinstalled 4 weeks later, only to stop working 3 days later.

In addition to self-installation issues, the turntable rollers are too small which makes the turntable unlevel and unsteady. Use of the old MW rollers solved the problem or we would have returned the unit.

I ordered this microwave in store to replace a similar one I'd had for 16 years. I picked it up in the store. Got it home, Installed it, it didn't work. Plug it in and the light and a motor went on and wouldn't shut off until it was unplugged. Lugged it back to the store and they ordered a new one, which I had delivered. As we were installing it, I noticed a bottom corner was dented. Lugged that one to the store to return. They ordered a new one. This one was supposed to arrive yesterday. UPS sent it back. It was damaged. When I called the store, they can't order a new one until they get that one back. When I said I'd go elsewhere as I'd been without the microwave for long enough, he said "whatever works for you".

I have had problems immediately after installing this microwave. I often have to unplug it and plug it back in to get the buttons to work. This morning I was heating up food and after two times of putting the food back in, I realized it is not heating. It's not even two years old. Yes, I should have returned it when I first had problems, but I would have had to have someone come over and unmount it for me.
