Great product poor door hinge design

It measured 14.5 inches on one side and 15 on the other. They said the microwave did not fit, which is a lie because later we lifted it up there and it fits. They left it in the floor and I still need it installed. They left screws and metal pieces lying everywhere mixed with those of other appliances which they tried to install and didn't.

Display went dark. Arranged for GE repair to come to fix it. 20 days later was the first appointment. Wire had come loose inside the unit. Works now

The reason for these actions is that with daily use, the latch boards (which receive the door latches when the door is closed) develop wear tracks where the door latches mate. And when the wear tracks get deep enough, the door switches get activated out of sync, causing blown fuses and fried switches. Don't buy this unless you enjoy ordering parts and putting them in.
