This is not nearly as nice as the one I replaced. It is very flimsy and doesn't heat as well as the old one. I would not recommend buying this and I would not keep it except that it was so difficult to get it purchased and installed that I don't want to go through the hassles again, so I will just keep it until it wears out. It seems to be made cheaply and charged expensively.

My Summary says it all. I don't expect my microwave, or any appliance, to simply quit working after two years. Since we're a retired couple and I don't cook very much, the microwave did not get heavy usage. Mostly used it to heat up frozen meals that we got from Jenny Craig. Of course the warranty is up after a year. Such shoddy manufacturing doesn't even deserve one star but I don't have the option of zero stars.

Stopped working after about a year and half with only moderate use. Door also difficult to open. Replacing unit since warranty expired.

I purchased my GE Microwave in January 2017. I had to purchase this particular one because my previous Microwave was a GE and this was the one that will fit in between the cabinets. After about 2 months I noticed in the window what looked like a separation about the size of a dime. I called GE as a concern and I was told as long as it doesn't affect the performance there was nothing they will do. Now here in June this problem has grown to the size of a half dollar. I'm concerned that this could be some kind of protective film or something is slipping in between the glasses. I would have taken this thing down myself and returned it to BestBuy myself months ago but I had to pay $125 to have it installed by my contractor. Now I'm stuck with this ugly thing that anyone who comes over asks me what on earth is that? I tell them that it's the mark of GE customer service who don't care about their product. Very very disappointed!

I purchased this microwave January of 2023 it is July of 2024 the microwave is on acting up and not working properly called BestBuy to check if it was still under warranty it is not only after a year wow what a waste of $415.00 I can believe this

I took a chance on an open box item that was supposed to be in excellent condition but it was far from it. The brackets to install the over the range microwave were missing and the item was damaged. I returned to the store.

The microwave works fine...in less than a year, the handle completely breaks off. Never ever have I had a handle break off of a microwave. Totally unrepairable...and mounting screws sticking out making it dangerous.

Not happy - the Key Pad has very little contrast and it is hard to read with or without the kitchen lights on... The exact same microwave this replaced had a much brighter higher contrast keypad!!!
