Item met all requirements of operation, Mounting bolts were in a different position of model replaced.

I bought this to replace a GE microwave that lasted 12yrs but they no longer make...this one is worse in almost every way..louder..buttons much harder to press...fan is LOUD (but does work well)....since it took forever to get one and I paid for it to be installed I'll keep it but I don't recommend it at all

I bought this model in July 2016. It is now Oct 2018 and it no longer works. About a week ago it tripped the breaker. After reseting the breaker and testing a few times and trying it plugged into a different outlet on a different breaker (which resulted in tripping the breaker again), there was a spark in the unit itself and now it is totally dead (before, once the breaker was reset, the clock and lights worked; the breaker tripped when the unit itself was turned on to heat something up. now, it is dead, no clock no nothing. obviously some kind of electrical problem internal to the unit. very disappointing. this replaced an older equivalent GE model that lasted 10 years. obviously they are not making them with the same quality as 10 years ago. and of course the warranty is only 1 year which is a joke. if they are only going to be accountable for this operating for 1 year, this should be a lot cheaper. Very disappointing. Piece of crap. And my house is full of GE appliances too. Going to shop around for something else now. Fool me twice shame on me, right?

LIGHT BULBS BURNT OUT FIRST WEEK AND A FEW MORE TIMES NOW !! WENT TO CLEAN FILTER/GREASE SCREEN LITTLE HANDLE PULLED OUT AMAZINGLY EASY THEN SCREEN PULLED COMPLETELY OUT THEN THE RING JUST FELL OUT !!! AND AT A COST OF $57.50 EA. I AM LIKE REALLY? THATS OVER HALF THE COST OF THE WHOLE UNIT :(

Not happy with the control panel.I bought the black and the control panel doesn’t light up and is hard to read.Other than that it works ok.

The microwave itself is decent, but getting to the point where you can actually mount it is a chore. Purchased one microwave that didn't have the mounting plate included. I exchanged the microwave for another one of the exact same model, got the microwave home... and still no mounting plate!!! Best Buy customer service was no help at all. I was disconnected from customer service three times (because you can't talk to someone at an actual store location unless you physically go there), and when I finally did get ahold of someone I was told that I could exchange it for a SECOND TIME or call GE customer service. GE was much more helpful and sent me the missing mounting plate. If I wasn't in need of a microwave quickly, I would have returned it to Best Buy again and shopped elsewhere. Super unhelpful.

It fulfilled all my requirements. It replaced a GE microwave which had worn out after 8 year.

I replaced a similar one manufactured in 2004 from GE. I had it in our house for 10 plus years. After a couple of weeks, I honestly miss the old one. It felt robust, you throw the door it take the beating and is just fine. This one, says stainless steel, it feels so flimsy. It feels like plastic painted with a steel coating. I cannot find my older model since its discontinued. The new one's are just old machines with cheap parts. That's my opinion. I don't think this will last 10 years unless we tone down our behavior with it. This is not something I can easily return and replace. It's a pain to replace such a thing. If someone is buying it, then i would suggest looking at it in person and then make the decision. Why 3 stars.. it works without any problem. so cannot deny that.

Oven gets hot when cooking range is own. My previous GE microwave was not getting hot when cooking range was own.

Nice and easy to use, liked the light and the turntable inside the microwave that you can turn off or on the swivel with one button.

It seems that this microwave is not as powerful as my old one.

New microwave to replace older Samsung one under cabinet

I had this microwave for the past 6 years in my new kitchen. It worked great. It did only last 6 years, however. I thought it would last a little longer. I am buying a new one, however.

Easy to self install. Works well and looks very modern and sleek. Very happy with the quality for the price.
