This microwave is a piece of crap. The control panel keeps freezing up. GE sent someone out to repair it and he charged me $125. So much for a warranty. I had it only a couple of months when it failed!!!!

Walked in Best Buy to purchase a microwave and bring it home with me to install myself. Walked out 5 minutes later with it in my car and drove home. Had previously tried to buy the same microwave at Home Depot which has no product in stock and makes you pay for shipping. So much better experience at Best Buy.

White Microwave

The over the range microwave ordered for us was bisque, but we actually wanted it in white. A mistake was made using the code for Bisque instead of the white code. However, we discovered this error a couple of days before delivery and Best Buy helped find us a white microwave before delivery. The microwave was installed by Danny, who is very knowledgeable about the install and the operation of the microwave. We are very satisfied with the microwave so far. We have only had it five days, but it seems to operate like we wanted.

This microwave is easy to use and heats more evenly than our old one. The installers knew their stuff and installed it quicly and correctly. We are very happy with our choice.

Overall...so far we are pleased w this oven. It performs as advertised and is a good value for being a no frills oven. The only slight negatives are 1) fan is pretty loud compared to our previous oven, and 2) it would be nice if the control buttons were back-litten...hard to see function buttons unless room lights are on.
