I’ve been through 3 of these and they last couple years at best. The only reason I buy this model is because of not having to drill additional holes in the cabinet. 1) 2018 purchase: this one lasted for 6 months and then spent 3 months in repair (under warranty) and finally died in 2020 Issue one: door switches faulty Issue two: sensors died Issue three: High Voltage transformer died 2) 2016 purchase: door switches died, keypad died 3) 2014 purchase: Turntable motor died, keys stopped working GE space maker: 2000- 2014! Zero issues!

Good middle of the road microwave

The only issue I have is with the installation instructions. I recommend a 1/16 of an inch gap between the bottom of the cabinet and the microwave hanger rather than flush with the bottom of the cabinet. Also, the diagram to locate the screw holes is misleading as to placing the diagram against the wall. The line that goes against the wall is 1/4 inch in from the outside line on the diagram. The reason is because of the raised imprint on the hanger.
