I like the microwave and it works well and matches all my other appliances . The one thing I'm not thrilled about is the inside base of the unit which is not flat but has pockets/dips under the rotating plate. I don't know if this is for better distribution of microwaves but the previous one was flat. This could be more difficult to clean if there are any major spills. Hopefully I won't have any. Something to watch out for.

Installation was fairly easy except for one bolt that was in a different spot than the unit that was being replaced. I particularly like the express cook feature, which the previous model did not have. With the sale price, it was a good buy.

Ordered this microwave in October of 2024 and it stopped working by July of 2025. I have gone through GE for the manufacturer warranty. Their contracted technicians have come and gone with parts being ordered multiple times. It is now December 2025 and the microwave is still not fixed. Today I was called to reschedule my fourth service appointment because parts will not be available until January 2026. There is no straight forward process to push through a full replacement because it's not covered under their warranty.

One of the best performed microwave with a good price. The older model life cycle was only 4 years. I hope this would take longer.

Replaced an 8-year old GE. We liked the old mike and are happy with the replacement. Used Geek Squad for installation, and very happy with that service, too.
