This microwave fits the bill perfectly. It is large enough to make good-sized meals in. Controls are easy to operate and it's easy to clean.

It fits with my old trim kit but wasn’t too difficult to install over my oven. It matches my profile stove with the exception of the display font color is more of a solid green color while my previous one was a yellowish color. But still very spacious with the new smart technology censoring. Reasonable priced. Had to drive to a BB store a little farther away but was worth it!

This means coffee in the morning without waking up the spouse or the dog! The door closes a little on the loud side, but it is okay. The space inside is great for different size dishes. Thumbs up on this product.

I have it 4 stars because I was attempting to purchase a microwave that would fit my trim kit. I found out that no trim kit works with it. It is a counter top only. This information from GE was obscure and “discovered” accidentally. Thank goodness for the Geek Squad for discovering what the issue was. I am ordering a different microwave with trim kit to replace the one that went out and this microwave as well. The microwave itself works great.

The difference in the door noise is due to a firmer spring in the door latch; this is a normal condition for the microwave. You can lift up on the latch to feel the tension. Any average height person standing can't see the very top of the display, so 7 looks like 1. It's really weird, especially for time of day.

This GE was the only one that fit and luckily has turned out to be a great buy. Rounded back makes it so easy to clean.
