GE Profile - 2.1 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave is a nice modern microwave. Good upgrade.

Microwave Is everything I expected. And the installation was pain free and smooth.

Very strange layout for controls. Had the GE Cafe previously and was very intuitive. This model has buttons and a knob control which makes setting timing slightly more convoluted than pressing touch pad digits. Otherwise it heats food up perfectly and fit in the same size opening as the GE Cafe it replaced.

No issues. Easy to install using same bracket that was part of original GE Profile Microwave that die after 12 years. Takes two people to keep it balanced so yo can get the back accurately in the bracket groove and get the the top of microwave lined up with the holes in cabinet bottom. Needed to drill two new holes in cabinet bottom. Was worried about the dial but liked the microwave. Turns out I had nothing to worried about. Dial is easy to use once you get the hang of it. Only downside is that minimum cook time is 15 seconds.

Needed to purchase a replacement. Works well and fit -- but this was a second choice. Make certain you read all the dimensions. The installation manual does have a height error.

We really like the looks of this microwave and the ease of use. It took a few minutes to get used to all of the upgrades this has compared to our old model. We really enjoy this unit.

Look the profile series appliances from GE. Fits well with our kitchen and the unit is so much better than our previous microwave.

Door and handle feel lightweight, our last GE MW with convection, these felt sturdier and more premium. However if this one lasts longer, then I'm satisfied. Installer was the best part of this actually, he was a total pro.

We like this microwave. We've had the microwave for less than a month, and we're still getting used to it, especially the dial. The fan is great! We love that it has so many speeds, it's very quiet on the lowest 2 settings and reasonably quiet on the high setting. It takes longer to heat a mug of water to make tea, but otherwise meets expectations.

Needed to replace my builder grade microwave, and Consumer Reports gave the GE Profile microwave the top rating. I found one in an open box at Best Buy, so I got the model I was looking for at a great price. Installed with help from my brother in law, and that went smoothly, except that I had to remove the top row of tiles on my backsplash. My wife and I were very pleased the first time we used the microwave to cook, as it was very quiet compared to the previous one we had. I thought the rotary knob was old fashioned, but it is quick and effective. Love the sensor cooking too. We often cook baked potatoes in the microwave and they come out nicely done without having to estimate how many minutes to set the timer for. The black interior looks great, and hides splatters well.

This is a built in unit so I wanted another unit that would fit into the same space and be as similar to what I had as possible. So far it works well. I'm getting used to the dial. Some of the commands have more steps than I was used to.

GEPuts out a good reliable product. This was the perfect size for my kitchen.

I only found this to be available on line. My last GE microwave is still working after 20 years but I wanted to match my other appliances.

Replaced the existing GE microwave. Chose due to the same dimensions as existing one.

Perfect size and really fast to warm food or even prepare foods!

This microwave is so easy to use and looks great above the stove.

Replaced my older GE microwave with this new model. Have to get used to using the dial to set time for cooking as it doesn't have express cook numbers like my older one or allow me to set the on/off time for night light. Do like the looks and all other features.

Microwave looks great and works fine. Pretty easy to use. If you have a space with unconventional dimensions, this microwave has additional filler component accessories. A little expensive compared to comparable models from other brands. Special mention about the Geek Squad installation team. They did a fantastic job!

I am Happy with the purchase of this microwave. Replaced an old GE Profile microwave I’d had for 11 years. Works well and hope this one last as long if not more than the old one!

We made the mistake of buying a Samsung model during our recent remodel and it died after 6 months of use. Doing further in depth research this time, we settled on this GE and glad we paid the extra price for it. It feels more solid that than the Samsung and has the features we will actually use.
