So I purchased this item back in July for delivery, and while I understood it was not in stock, I accepted the date in September to take delivery of the item. I believe it was on September 26th, I got a notification that my item was at the store and ready for pick-up. I am in no way able to pick up a refrigerator, and I remember distinctly saying I wanted it delivered. I called customer service and explained that I wanted this item delivered, and the agent graciously amended the order and let me know it would be delivered on September 29th, and someone had to be here from SEVEN to SEVEN to receive the item. I took the day off and made sure I was home all day to recieve the delivery. Around 4pm, I received a call from a customer service agent stating that they would not be able to deliver the item today, but they were eager to schedule another day (which I assume would require a wait of 12 hours) to deliver the item. I let the agent know that I took off work to get the item delivered today and that is the only time I had (as I work 7 days a week). So, since this debacle, I have spoken with a "customer advocate" (who is the same person) that keeps calling with the same question of "When can we schedule your delivery?" to which I always answer "How about September 29th? I'll be home all day"...which gets a pause, and they always promise to take my gripe to "the team" which only gets me the same person calling back asking the same question. So, in short, I have paid for this item and still have not received it.

Works well in the garage in Michigan - it's cold here (has been below freezing in the garage) and things are working well. Some squeaking of drawers and whatnot but otherwise things are good. Happy with it.

This low rating is for the Best Buy Delivery Team, not the actual product. The team neglected to tell me that my new refrigerator needed to sit for twenty-four hours after being delivered upstairs to our kitchen. See, the freon and oil in the refrigerator's thermodynamic system gets shaken up after a delivery. You must wait twenty-four hours for the system to go back to it's normal, 'separated' state.
I just bought this unit July, 2022. It worked correctly for about two months until the items in the freezer became half frozen/half thawed.
The first repair rep who came out to my house today to fix my fridge, told me it will take time to order parts/schedule the repair. In addition, the repair itself will take several hours, rep told me.
Nowadays, you need to do their job for them! Make sure to let your new fridge sit for twenty-four hours before you start to run a brand new unit. Once the product passes that 48-hour return window, responsibility is passed to the warranty company. The store where you purchased it is not responsible for product's working order after that.
In my case, the fridge worked just fine at first. Rep today explained, "It takes some time before the oil that has been mixed into the freon, plugs up your lines". So 'Best Buy' sells you the unit but, clearly doesn't care about your experience using it!

Ordered from Arlington Hts store. Salesman helped me pick a new refrigerator given the whirlpool freezer was defective. It was easy. He set a fast delivery date . Delivery right on schedule & frig is great

GE refrigerator- one stop place. Got from Best Buy - better price than anyone else. Customer service is awesome. Cooling and freezer works like a charm.

Product works pretty well, but it it has a problem maintaining recommended temperatures in the refrigerator and the freezer . If I set the temperature dials to the recommended settings ("3" in both chambers), the temperatures in both the freezer and the refrigerator are too high. In order to achieve the recommended temperatures (37 F for refrigerator; 0 F for freezer ), I have to set the dials to "4."

I went to the Best Buy outlet in Tominum and found a nice refrigerator. It had a dent in the side but you won’t see that side. I had to pick it up in my truck, I was able to have it right away since my refrigerator was not working. Good price, no problems.

I've had GE Refrigerators exclusively for years and years, which is why I bought this one. I was very surprised to see the glass shelves sag when I put a number of gallon containers on the top shelf. I called GE and they said the shelves were only rated for about 50 pounds, which translates to about 6 gallons of liquid, while there is easily room for 10 gallons. In all my years of putting away groceries, I have never had to count gallons before putting them into the refrigerator. The shelves are simply flimsy and cheap and could have easily been designed for the strength required to fully utilize the available cubic footage available. GE did not seem concerned, but I am very disappointed ... in the refrigerator as well as with GE's response.
