Smaller inside then anticipated, but cleans the dishes and love the 3rd shelf. Tall glasses need to go on the bottom shelf. Nice options on cleaning cycles.

I like this dishwasher so far. Cleans well and is quiet. I like the 3rd tray (top) but it does cut down on the size of glasses that will fit below. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

It is overall a nice dishwasher. There is no lever to open the door, so every time we open the door we end up hitting buttons and don’t know what we’ve started on it. Overall though cleans dishes well.

Dishwasher has a larger capacity than old one. My wife really likes the third rack on top. Works as well as the old one. To test how good it was, we didn't rinse a glass baking pan before loading it into the dishwasher, which we normally do. The pan still had food stuck on it after the cycle was finished. We're back to rinsing first, but we're happy with this dishwasher otherwise.

Pros: It is extremely quiet Cons: 3rd rack blocks objects on 2nd rack. Silverware holder cannot be relocated. Buttons are too easily hit when closing. Dispenser door fails to open. After 6 months this dishwasher already needs repair. The detergent dispenser door does not open and we've done all of the standard troubleshooting to no avail. Despite this, I'm not very pleased with this dishwasher as it's design and features, which sound good, make it difficult to use and annoying. I've already removed the top rack as it prevented anything other than a standard sized glass being placed on the 2nd rack, including water bottles, travel mugs and bowls. The silverware rack cannot be relocated as it only fits in one spot. This is not a big deal during a meal clean-up but if you want to quickly open the dishwasher and toss in a fork or spoon, you have to fully lower the door and slide out the bottom tray to use any of the back slots for the silverware. When opening and closing this dishwasher you must be careful not to press on the door (it flexes in a lot) or the center of the top as you're sure to hit a button and change how the dishwasher runs. It is not a very fast dishwasher, and for the extra time taken it doesn't appear to clean much better than our 15 year old whirlpool did. I would not recommend this product.

I love the third rack. I will never go back to one without it. I don’t like that there isn’t an extra rinse option. Also seems like no matter what setting it takes a long time and timer keeps extending itself. So I can’t really go by the count on the screen. We had finish tabs but the store ran out and we got the cascade platinum tabs. It doesn’t seem to clean as well with those. I really expected more with this dohwasher. It does do its purpose but I feel it isn’t as efficient as expected. That may just be my issue expecting too much.

Replaced a 10-year old "cheap" dishwasher in a vacation home, and this was perfect for our needs without being overly pricey! I like the front controls, the recessed handle and the overall interior design including the third drawer. It is much quieter than our old one, too. The only issue is that a small amount of water remains on the bottom that doesn't get completely drained out. Never-the-less, I would consider buying this again for our primary home!

This dishwasher works much better than my old one from the beginning. I love the special spray jets for tall bottles. I didn't think I'd use the third rack at the top, but it's come in handy for lids or extra silverware. The best part is how quiet it is. My dogs used to bark at my old one thinking the garage door was opening. They don't even notice this is running.

Had it for about a month and a half now, so far works great! This replaced the already old dishwasher that was included with the house when we bought it 18 years ago. The new one washes everything just as well (we do lightly rinse our dishes before putting them in, not sure if that matters) but now nearly silently. My wife ran it the other day while I was in the living room (right next to the kitchen) and I went in the bathroom to check if my kids had left the bathroom sink or shower barely running as I thought I could hear a little bit of water running, it wasn't until later that I realized it was the dishwasher running! Even standing right in front of it you can barely tell it's running from the noise. Pretty great appliance considering it's one of the cheapest you can get We also opted for Best Buy's delivery and installation. The tech that came out was absolutely great. Although I'm very handy myself, it was worth the money as he knew exactly what he was doing and explained everything to the point that none of us has bothered reading the manual.

I installed myself it was easy to hook up other than needing an adapter for water, it was different from my GE that I replaced. The dishwasher is great works wonderful and the silverware rack keeps knives away from the children. Because we run a daycare the dishwasher runs three times a day. The GE we replaced lasted seven trouble free years. The only complaint I have is that the stainless steel on the door is really flimsy and could be easily dented. They really need to put a piece of ridged foam between the steel and the actual door.

Read my review on the delivery and service. Horrible experience with the delivery. But once installed, it works well. Better - waaaaay better the old dishwasher Samsung. But - is, not as quite as we thought - that said,it is softer sounding than others we have had. Also runs for several hours to get a good wash. Cleans way better then both our other 2. LOVE the top rack. The quality of the racks seems stronger. Love the utensil rack as it compartmentalized.

I originally tried to leave this review on GE’s site, but for some reason they did not like my honesty and wouldn’t post it. So I am posting it here, at Best Buy, where I bought it. We love our GE Model GDF630PSMSS Dishwasher! My wife didn't want to spend a lot on a dishwasher so I did a LOT of research and settled on this GE. When we ran our first cycle we were GREATLY IMPRESSED at its cleaning ability. Specifically we love the fact that you can select "Autosense" as a cycle that will adjust the time of wash depending on how dirty the dishes are. We also love the fact that it has a built in HARD FOOD PROCESSOR that they call the "Pirahana" (this chops up food particles into tiny bits so that they can go down the drain); We did not want to keep cleaning a filter like on other models without a hard food processor. Some things we were not so fond of... firstly, there is no "pre-wash" cup to put dishwasher liquid into for each cycle. The documentation says you don't need "pre-wash".... but YES you do. Modern dishwashers use the enzymes and other "ingredients" of dishwashing liquids, tablets, powders, etc., to break down dried on food on various dishes/cookware to do the cleaning. Using a "pre-wash" ensures that the dishes will always come out well. So, for each dishwash cycle, we squirt a little dishwashing liquid into the tub of the dishwasher and then put a dishwash tablet into the automatic dispenser. We tested this by putting pans into the dishwasher that had burnt on bacon; burnt pancake batter; and other hard food. After we ran the autosense cycle with our addition of "pre-wash" every single thing came out spotless! The only other thing we are NOT fond of is the rubber gasket around the inner door. The bottom rack constantly rolls over the rubber gasket EVERY time you pull it out and push it back in. If you lift the bottom rack up over the gasket each time, it may prolong the life of the gasket.... but honestly.... who the heck wants to lift a heavy bottom rack each time you pull it out to unload? A better design should have been figured out. But... we have the extended warranty, so that should cover that if the gasket ever wears out. But.. overall.. a great machine! Love the front display and the countdown timer letting you know how many minutes are left per cycle

this is just a midlevel dishwasher, but really cleans better than our old unit that was twice the price. its very quiet if you install the foam around it. has enough features and cycles for anyone. wife really likes the upper silverware rack

I live in a rental that needed a new dishwasher badly. I did a lot of research and ended up with this model. It's not a fancy stainless steel tub, but for the price it is pretty great. I especially like the food grinder and the third drawer on top. I can fit a whole lot of items in this dishwasher as well. Compared to every dishwasher I have used in the past, this one is very quiet. I have no complaints about this dishwasher so far.

This dishwasher exceeds my expectations. I can’t recommend it highly enough. It has many features of the more expensive machines, and all of the quality. It’s extremely quiet. The combination of options you can select for each load is extensive and will meet any need you have. I particularly love the upper/lower wash selection. There are many times I don’t have a full load but need clean glasses & silverware The bottle jets are absolutely amazing! I use refillable water bottles all the time and no longer have to wash them by hand. The adjustable middle rack is fabulous to accommodate those larger items that just never seemed to fit in older models. To test when they say “no need to rinse, washes even dried on food”, I let the dog bowls get grungy. I also let gobs of thick peanut butter dry & harden on a slotted wooden spatula. Same with some Tupperware where I purposely let the food harden. When it was done washing, every single piece was as clean as could be! Don’t second guess yourself on this one! It’s options and value exceed the cost.

I love this dishwasher! The third/top drawer is perfect for washing serving spoons. This dishwasher is super quiet and cleans very well. I'm extremely happy with this purchase!

This dishwasher is super quiet! Also, the plastics are dry. It does an amazing job getting dishes clean and dry. It seems like a smaller capacity to us because the silverware basket is on the bottom rack. The last washer he had, it was in the door. But we can remove the basket if needed. Top drawer is adjustable. We are very happy with this purchase.

This is our second GE dishwasher and we love it as much as the first one that lasted us almost 30 years. Granted we only use it once a week most of the time, but it also does a great job when we have a houseful of family.

Runs quiet and the dishes get very clean. Is user friendly.

The best dishwasher, really enjoy the 3rd rack. It is good for cup lids and large utensils that don't seem to fit in any other place. Cleans well and is quiet.
