We saw this cooktop in store at our local bestbuy, and purchased it along with installation. We had an older model from GE but this cooktop is very powerful. It easily heats up our woks and I do think that our food tastes better because of how hot it can safely transfer heat to the foods inside the woks.

My wife love her new cooktop, I like GE appliances.

We installed this GE Cooktop and in a couple of days, the starter of the large power boil burner stayed on even when we turned it off. We would have to adjust the knob by pushing it down and sideways to get the starter to shut off. In less than a week, another burner right behind it on the back left had the exact same problem. I called GE Warranty Support and they will be sending a service man, but I hope they replace the faulty unit instead of just a temporary fix that needs repeated attention. The knobs on all 4 burners are made of very flimsy plastic and could easily break even if you take good care of your cooktop like I do.

It fit perfectly overall. Bestbuy also matched the price with Home Depot and Lowe’s. Everything was good. There was a small hiccup when the installation person asked for an equipment wire - apparently that is something we had to order as well. Thankfully, he installed it for no extra charge.

I bought this cook top to replace a 15 year old white GE profile cook top. The old one worked fine, but was starting to look tired. The new stainless cook top dropped right into the cut out for the old one and it looks great and works very nicely.

The product os super nice. Unfortunately i had to return it because it did not fit my cooktop. I was so disappointed. Hopefully i can get one that fits.

Plastic knobs and low flame. The quality of the unit is decent for the price

The cooktop works good so far. The only thing that I don't like this cooktop is the most powerful burner is at the left side. My old one is the right side. It needs time to get use to it.

Great replacement for my parents 20+ year old cook top. We did have to modify one drawer that was underneath the right side of the new top. The inlet valve was not as far back as the original top, other than that it dropped right into place.

It is in White to match the other appliances in the kitchen. To get that color it took over four months. It works great. GE had it in stock. The buyers at Best Buys had some sort of problem
