So far we love this washer. We are a family of five so this washer is great. Holds lots of clothes and does a great job.

Lots of space, gets the job done. Just really loud and annoying. On top of that, I've had times where the water does not completely drain leaving my clothes dropping wet. Ive called the geek squad to come check it out but they didn't find anything broken therefore, I do not feel it is a broken washer and do not recommend

I read up on this washer and had concerns about it being noisy and dancing across my laundry room. No such issue here as I made sure it is level and don't overload the thing. Many different level setting and just finding the ones we like now. The Auto Sense He setting is not to our liking as it puts just enough water to soak the clothes and then the actual washing is done by the cloth rubbing against each oth through friction. I'm afraid this will wear out our clothes to quickly so we just set to the level we think we have loaded and then adjust if not high enough. No issues so far and got a smoking deal on the unit with Black Friday discounts (at the beginning of November??? Crazy I say)

Glad they brought back the vertical agitator! We had a Samsung front load that was purchased in 2011. Clothes did not get cleaned, and were sour smelling. Love our new GE top load. Went back to the basics . Top quality for a top load washer.

I love this washer and it really is like washers were before the top loading craze (this washer replaces my top loader :) It allows for the user to choose how full the washer is and the agitator works like a charm. I took off one point because some of the fabric softener is still on the agitator after finished and sometimes a glob of softener is visible on the clothes. I use Downy HE but I doubt that is what is causing it.

This washer looks slim, but has a greater load capacity than you'd think. It has the 'smart water level' option, but you can select 1 size greater manually for more thorough soaking & rinsing. Good cleaning performance, options include variable soak times, 1 or 2 extra rinses & spins. Only 2 issues which might displease some: a) changing settings once the process has started can be difficult; the machine's 'brain' gets rather 'pouty' about this, & b) the sound during washing would annoy some people; I, on the other hand, think it's hilarious--it sounds like a rhino grunting through an elliptical. Overall, this has been a good new appliance for us, so far, from GE, which still can produce a good product.

I bought this as an open box item after returning a whirlpool the same size.The gearbox for the agitator is a bit noisy,but ok if the laundry room door is closed.I love the fact that it is an he machine and saves water.It took a while to get used to the lid lock feature until it is paused.So used to throwing in last minute items.It chimes every time you start or stop the cycle.Our last GE lasted 7 year's with teenagers,hope this one lasts longer.

This washer is easy to use and I can add water if I think it needs more! The lid doesn't lock unless it is spinning.

This washer was purchased to replace an old one that failed. That old one was in the house when we moved in 5 years ago. So I went looking, and was surprised to find the best deal at Best Buy. It had a large capacity, many cycles, energy and water -saving features, and (most importantly) a real agitator. It cleans well, and we like it a lot. AND, it was on sale! A win-win.

I purchased this washer because it was the best value for the size I was looking for. It seems to do a good wash job and is very easy to use. However during the wash cycle it is a little bit noisy. All together it does seem to be a good washer.

after 19 years my Whirlpool washer's water pump sprung a leak. Due to the age of the washer a replacement was the best option. My husband and I researched brands and prices and that led us to the purchase at Best Buy. I did read the reviews and the most common comment was that the machine was noisy. Our laundry room is on our main floor so that was a concern but knowing noise tolerances are different for people we decided to purchase the machine. It is louder that what we were using but it is tolerable and now that I have used it several times the noise is a non-issue. So far I have been very pleased with the job it does with the clothes and I really like all the options of the machine.

Bought this washer to replace my 30+ year old washer. Main thing we don't like about this washer is you have to select Deep Rinse(when adding fabric softner). This adds such a longer cycle to your load running time. We have tried other settings to see if we could use the softener ball in the load as to skip that Deep Rinse cycle. That did not work. Softener was left all over clothes. It's mentioned in the instructions that it spins longer to get more water out of clothes to make drying clothes shorter time. Nope. Just not happy with not having the ability to select a cycle that will allow us to use the softener ball. The selection of load size also doesn't quite get it. Also has taken the Best Buy team a few times to get washer level. It is still not leveled correctly. It moves, jumps and makes considerably loud noises. So far not the happiest about the operations and setup. If you don't mind the waiting time this washer might just be for you. But the delivery team was great in the delivery of washer.

I would reccomend this purchase, great price, looks great, works even better. Clothes come out nice and clean.

Great price, works very well, installation went smoothly. For those who believe this washer is noisy, I disagree. It makes unusual noises not made by older models because it has different mechanics. The interior is very large and I can fit a Queen size comforter in it with room left over. I love it.

Great washing machine, was looking for a unit that featured a center agitator and this does the trick. was very easy to set up and install myself- just hook up the hoses and go. I will agree with other users that this is a louder machine than I was expecting but its not horrible and I'll take the extra noise for the agitator

I love this machine. It holds a TON of clothes and gets them really clean. I'm old school and love the fact that it has an agitator post unlike a lot of the new machines. It also has the option to choose your load size (amount of water) or let the machine decide for you. I'm very happy with it.

It’s good wash and doesn’t make loud noise. So quietly when it’s wash the clothes are clean!..

This washer is easy to use and does a very good job.

It is a simple, easy to use washing machine. I have done 30 loads. They came out clean, no balance issues (did bedding and towels). Runs quick. Great options. Has the agitator which I think makes clothes cleaner. I would buy this again.

Thus far, I love my new washer. I selected this GE because although it has all the energy savings functions, it has an agitator. I was surprised when I first began to use it. It cleans better and spin removes more water making dry time shorter.
