The water saver on washers are a joke unless you are doing a small load. Have had good service with GE products so far. Made in us from what I can see. Choose Wisely :-)

A little taller than expected for someone with short legs, more of a reach to empty drum contents. Great to have a dependable Washer!

Simple controls and adjustable water level dial. Great Best Buy service personnel that removed the old Maytag washer from the basement and installed this new GE one.

However, it is the loudest alert that i have ever heard. If you want a dryer that causes everyone in the house to cover their ears and scream and run over to the dryer and yank open the door to stop the horrible sound, this is the dryer for you. Never run it if someone is sleeping anywhere in the house. You probably should make sure the neighbors arent sleeping too. Im not even kidding. It is a really horrible, jarring, loud and prolonged noise and if you dont open the dryer it will keep doing it.
