Good washing machine
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this washing machine. It runs quietly. The clothes come out clean, but it seems to become unbalanced easily if you run it on precise fill. So I don't use that setting.

Does the job!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good! I got it around Thanks giving. It is a little loud, but it cleans much better than my previous washer that did not have an agitator. However, my wife washed our pillowcases and the agitator tore them up.

Nice washer
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm use to the old-school washers with the agitators. After much searching I decided on this washer and I don't regret my selection. Easy to use, many options and it has an agitator. I would recommend it.

Great Washer but Doesn't Have Detergent Dispenser
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the basket size. It can do a big load with no problem. Auto water size adjustment works nicely and I like the various sizes. Good selection of washing styles from heavy duty to delicate. Extra rinse choices nice to have also. Only disappointment is that it doesn't have an auto detergent dispenser and detergent is either put in before loading clothes on on top of them. This was the top of the line GE top loading machine at Best Buy, so it may have been an older model. It has been 2 months since I purchased this washer and I have noticed that the GE models at Costco have a dispenser.

Too loud for me!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this appliance to replace a 20 year old GE profile washer that I was very happy with, but that was on it's last leg. The washer is easy to use (not overly complicated) and is works well washing the clothing. It is also attractive, however, it is very loud! I'm not sure why it's so loud. It's is almost a deal breaker for me. The current climate for appliance purchases has been difficult with low inventory and long wait times so available options were limited, but I would not purchase this model again due to the very loud operating mode

Excellent top loading deep tub washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great machine, leaves my clothes cleaner than I’ve seen in years. The tub is deep and I’m short but that does not present a problem. Love the extra settings designations - jeans, towels, sheets, etc. All in all well worth the price.

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does the job that we need it to do. Bigger tub than the last GE we had, so we're able to fit more clothes into it, huge plus. While it's a bit louder than the last one, the various wash options and chime when it's completed make up for it IMO. Great machine!

Do NOT buy this washing machine!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband bought this piece of garbage about 3 years ago, to replace a Kenmore washer that we'd had for 10 years with no issues. Though we've had it for 3 years, it's only had 2 years of use, because we had home damage due to a mainline break, that displaced us for about 10 months. This piece of junk broke this month. The problems became obvious almost immediately. It is supposedly a high efficiency washing machine, but what that means is that there's never enough water to properly clean or rinse your clothes. We found ourselves always having to do a second rinse to get the soap out. This happened with using HE laundry detergent in the proper amount. We also had to do smaller loads, because of the water issue. So much for being efficient! It took 2 times longer to get what should've been one load of laundry done, so we used more electricity, water, & precious time. There's also an annoying lock on the lid, that prevents you opening it if you forgot to add something that you want to throw in. You can pause the cycle, but it takes time for it to stop & unlock, & you find yourself twiddling your thumbs while waiting. I don't understand the purpose of this feature & wish there was a way to disable it. Within the 1st few month's of having it we started experiencing issues with it becoming off balance & bouncing around. No amount of re-arranging the clothes helped. About a year ago we started having issues with the spin cycle not always draining the water out. Within the past 6 months we've had issues with the washing machine spontaneously stopping, without finishing the cycle, with water still in it. This month it finally died altogether. We can't even get it to power up. We tried unplugging it to reset it, but when we plugged it back in, a humming noise was heard. Thankfully this happened around Black Friday, because I'll be buying a different brand that is more reliable - probably Whirlpool or Kenmore.
