It does nothing to help drain the excess water that causes the smell everyone hates. I found lots of excess water hiding in the soap dispenser area. Take out the dispenser, empty, dry the compartment.. extra water gone. Great washer though.

I’ve had to replace it twice since I’ve thought it. Also, if the control panel fails, there is no override switch to get your wet clothes out of the machine. They’re locked in there until you get it fixed.
