Large load operation, very stable low vibration. Venting feature is a plus.

I thought that a GE washer such as this unit would pack some great value, but unfortunately it has proven to totally fail expectations. It looks great and the stackable feature is nice (thus 2-star rating), but the following issues make it certain that I will never purchase a GE washer again: 1) the drum cannot handle a load of moderate/heavy size - the unit is unable to rinse a queen size comforter, sheet and pillow set all at one time; comparable units do this no problem. 2) the pump buzzed intermittently without the machine powered on and finally went out just past the warranty mark, 3) the unit trips the new SquareD QO arc-fault breakers constantly. Right after the door locks and the cycle begins the breaker trips. There is a recall notice at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Md0zSqHUbPGGz3FZD4cWIV7YBJjBtBl1/view?pli=1 - despite this particular model number suffix (2) not being on the list, the symptoms are exactly the same as the recall. These (3) major issues are the reason for the 2-star review. For the price tag and name, you'd expect much more. This is coming from a mechanical engineer who works on all different types of systems/units. Please do better GE.

Clothes come out cleans and the smell in gasket is non-existent

Purchased in July 2023. It was a little loud but worked so no complaints. The machine stopped working in Nov 2025. Purchase if you want to replace every 2-3 years.

Love the venting feature! Eliminates any wet smell when the washer stays closed! It also runs very quiet!
